Title: EGO Nexus Power Station provides awesome peace of mind
Review: I recently purchased the EGO Nexus Power Station after doing some critical research of portable gas (gasoline/propane) generators and battery powered inverters. The Power Station was a perfect fit for my particular situation. Storm related power outages of up to 24 hours are a reality in Hawaii, more an inconvenience than life threatening, altho we do have tsunamis and hurricanes from time to time. The Power Station can be safely used inside my home, none of the dangerous fumes that gas generators produce. It is quiet, even when the fans kicks in to help keep the system cool, unlike the loud gas motors of generators. It is super easy to use, just a push of a button and itâs ready to power, no hard pulling of a starter cord. No need to worry about gas, oil, spark plugs, just snap in the batteries, quick, clean and easy.I purchased 2 EGO 7.5 amp batteries to compliment the stock I already have to provide added emergency power. I tested the Power Station with just the two 7.5s and powered my 25 cubic inch fridge for over 4 hours using a little more than 25% of the available power of the batteries (Fridge compressor turned on 2 times). I also tested the portability of the Power Station, running a vacuum cleaner to clean out my car and powering a multitool to fix a broken sprinkler pipe outside my fence line. I also vacuumed the inside of my house and ran my computer for about an hour. Together, the fridge, vacuum, multitool and computer used around 50% of the available power of the 2 batteries. The Power Station w/ the 2 batteries weighed in at around 45 lbs. With its carry handles it was light enough for me to carry around the yard/house with no problems. The downside of the Power Station is charging the batteries during a blackout. But GOOD NEWS! EGO will be selling a solar charging adaptor later this month for around $150. The recommended solar panels for this charger sell for less than $100 on Amazon. This is a must have, must buy option for me!

Title: Ego is a Go!
Review: I have used Ego power equipment for almost ten years. I live in an area that has blackouts often, so Iâve used this many times now. It a GREAT unit! My only complaint is the fan to cool the inverter is a bit loud when itâs under higher loads, but thatâs to be expected of any high air volume fan. The unit itself works beautifully! I have also used it running a table saw with two 7.5 Ah older batteries and had no issues! Iâve run it with four Ego 10Ah batteries from my riding mower and itâs lasted 18 hours with a 1.1 Kw refrigerator load running intermittently. I highly recommend this unit, itâs well designed like almost all other Ego equipment is.

Title: Useful Backup for Ego Tool Users
Review: I had to write a short review after buying an Ego mower with a bad battery, although new. Still. waiting for the replacement from customer service, who says they are out of the latest battery type. Not a great first impression for a top-rated mower from Consumer Reports. In the meantime, I had to get another battery to mow the lawn. Meanwhile, I saw this and knew this would be useful during the winter if the power goes out since I will have at least two batteries soon. (I hope?)Here's what I found from it: Setting up WiFi on this thing was incredibly hard. I had to use a YouTube video to troubleshoot and had to set up a separate WiFi network just to get it to work. Ridiculous. They need to update their app ASAP, I think? Otherwise, this unit is slick and seems to work with just one battery. I haven't had time to test it long-term, but this thing is really bigger and more solid than I thought, and I will be very happy to have it on hand in times of emergency.

Title: Worth it
Review: Without power during Helene right now. Been up for a couple of hours with it running my fridge, computer and phone. One small, one medium and one large battery. It will die in about 20 minutes but let me wait out the winds for awhile and get work done before heading out to fire up my gas generator.

Title: Completely useless
Review: This power station is as worthless as it gets, even with 4 fully charged batteries it will only last 1 day. Then it need to recharge those 4 batteries and it takes 8 hours on a ac charger, twice that long on solar! And until those batteries are charged fully, you are without power completely. So that means no camping trips unless it is for 1 night, and if your using it as an emergency backup, if your out of power for more than 12 hours, your screwed. You better buy a better system if you can and forget about this one

Review: Bought the Big EGO SnowBlower and came with some big batteries. Never snowed so looking for something to use them on so I got this Power Unit. Ran the Sawzall great and also a Craftsman shop VAC. Cut up a Pallet and did some vacuuming and Batteries were still full.

Title: Does not connect to app
Review: Iâm not sure if the problem is with the machine or the app, but after calling Ego customer service multiple times, Iâm convinced itâs not something that can be easily fixed. That being said, the power station itself has been working great as a charger for my four batteries. I plug them in at the end of the day and theyâre all charged by the morning. Also, it doesnât make any noise, unlike the rabid charger and turbo charger. One thing I think would be useful, besides the app working properly, is wheels and a pull out handle for transport because it is very heavy with the batteries.

Review: The unit comes complete with charger and wires. It does need separate batteries that are NOT included. I have yet to test the device extensively but my initial tests were as expected after reviewing the device on a number of websites and YouTube videos. I am modifying my furnace power feed to accommodate the use of this power station during power grid outages. The other critical devices (fridge and freezer) can be plugged in directly to the power station and I can run those individually for a cycle or two to keep my food cold or frozen and the house from freezing. It may be chilly but I won't have to worry about frozen pipes.GordKEdmonton, AB, Canada
