Title: Works in the US
Review: I got this so that I could create a hotspot in my car and run Waze on my aftermarket android radio. It works fine with a T-mobile MVNO in the US. Although there are several similar products on Amazon, you have to be really careful which one you order because many of them are only compatible with Chinese cell phone frequencies. If you're in the US and planning to use this with T-mobile or one of it's MVNOs this is the one to get. If you're an AT&T customer, this probably won't work because AT&T aggressively bans devices that they don't sell you themselves.

Title: Doesn't work
Review: Easy to setup. Problem is that when I try to connect a phone or tablet (no matter brand) connects but dead. No data transfer. Tried many different solutions but to no avail. Definately not worth the raw materials it is made with.

Title: Works great. Difficult hardware
Review: I did enjoy this hotspot on my recent trip to Europe. I used a Movistar SIM also sold here on Amazon; the experience couldn’t be better. The interface works fine thru browser and after entering the device password, and entering the SIM card code voilá, full internet browsing. First, it is extremely difficult removing the battery cover, second, instructions are written in 1mm size and hard to read. My device had a defective SIM card slot, but I was able to use it. It is an inexpensive wifi hotspot and battery duration could get you 5 to 6 hours without charge; it gets a bit hot if you keep it inside a backpack while on. In general, it is worth it especially for traveling overseas having immediate internet connection when you land.

Title: Doest not work as advertised
Review: After some more investigation and reading other reviews I have found that this device simply does not work as advertised. The product description clearly states it can be used " in 2 modes USB Modem & WiFi Router". After testing I can confirm that is works (poorly) in the wifi router mode. When using it as a router, connected devices are able to reach the internet at ~5mbps. When connected as a USB modem (AKA to a computer that doesn't have wifi) speeds cap out at <.2mpbs. If I knew that using it as a USB modem was this horrible I would have never bought it. Stay away.Original Review----------------------------------------------------------------------------------The device connects. That is about it.Even connecting to the device itself thru the web portal is painfully slow, let alone the connection it provides. When it is connected, i get ~.1-.2 mbps. I have tried adjust multiple settings, TTL, etc. The problem is with the device. Junk. Dont buy. Reviewer: Larry Apolonio

Title: Another Linux User
Review: Saw another Linux reviewer, not sure what their system is but wanted to add my review on LinuxRunning Rocky Linux 9.3 on a Thin Client with a AMD GX-212JC SOC and 4GB of RAMT-Mobile Postpaid USA service. With 4G service for the first 20GB (I think) and after that unlimited 3G speeds.Intent is to use this to send last messages if the main or backup internet goes down or before power in the UPS goes out. So not being used for normal internet use.Device is simple, plug it in and it appears as an ethernet device. You will have to configure it with Network Manager (nmtui or nmcli) but you will see it as a device if you run nmcli devices show.Set it to use dhcp and you will be connected to the internet using the device. The device acts as a wifi router, so you can simply connect to it with a browser, the initial IP will be 192.168.0.1 and password is admin.I disabled the wifi portion of it. So I have no comments positive or negative on the wifi portion of it.If you are reasonably tech savvy (if you are the guy family calls to help with their network) you can probably figure this device out.I did a port scan against the device (192.168.0.1) and something was listening on port 4719 and you can connect to it via netcat or telnet. It does prompt you for a username and password. So it is strange that a port is opened but no documentation came with it explaining what that port is.Been running for a week now and although I can get to Internet with this device, the web interface is no longer available. The web interface is cool and I was able to send and receive SMS messages, don't know of a way to script it though. Conclusion:For my use case it does the job, but this will probably not work for 24/7 internet replacement. For on the road use or something temporary, it does the job.

Title: Works Fine
Review: I bought several of these so I could get internet service for a technologically and financially challenged friend. They use it for their laptop. They're older and have trouble seeing the YouTube videos they like to watch on their cell phone. This works well for them. Be aware that it isn't 150mbps, more like 10 to 15mbps. But, it does work, and it works well. Too bad they don't make one of these that is 5G, but 4G is all you're gonna get. It's not too difficult to set up, but like others have said, the interface is a bit laggy, so go slow as you slog through the set up. It works fine with T Mobile. I don't know if it'll work with any other network.

Review: But this to replace a WiFi stick I've been using at my camo for security camera. My connection was always slow and would take forever for a camera to connect. Set this one up today, seamless connection with Rogers SIM card. Much stronger connection and cameras not connect in seconds. So far, seems to be a great little device. Will update should I have any problems.

Review: I needed a LTE router to be able to connect more devices on a LTE sim card (Sharing the same data plan). This device does the job.It seem to support up to 10 devices, which in my case is more that I required. The screen does turn off after a few seconds.I don't know about the stability of the router.... time will tell.So far It seem to do the job well. If situation changes I will update this review.Updated review- every time you remove the battery the date reset to 01-01-2014- connection is unstable, every few days it lose connection and stop working, it’s connected but internet is not working- contacted seller, suggested to return it.- no way to set automatic rebook- do not buy if you want to keep it always on- an old cell phone with tethering would be better

Review: VERY good

Customers say

Customers like the size of the router. However, some customers have reported issues with functionality, WiFi connectivity, and speed. They mention it doesn't work for 24/7 internet replacement, never connects to WiFi, and has issues reconnecting to 4G after losing signal. Some also dislike the battery life and charging ability. Opinions differ on value for money and instruction quality.
