The Lasko CD08200 is a small, white, portable ceramic space heater that is specifically designed for home bathroom use. Even though it’s designed for bathroom use, this heater can be used anywhere in the house or apartment to eliminate cold spots and save you from the added expense of turning up the whole-house thermostat on chilly days and nights.
The heater comes with an integrated ALCI safety plug (a device that shuts off power to the unit in a fraction of a second in the event of a short). It’s also ETL Listed and comes with Automatic Overheat Protection, a self-regulating ceramic heating element, and an exterior that stays cool to the touch – taking the worry out of using the heater for long periods of time.

Review: I absolutely love this amazing bathroom heater. It is small but puts out alot of heat. Very simple to operate just high & low. It also has a one hour setting with automatic shut off. Title: Works well and as expected
Review: I bought this for my bathroom in my basement as sometimes between seasons it gets chilly down there. I read reviews on a lot of these. This look like the perfect one it’s not made of metal, so I don’t have to worry about rusting. Very easy to operate just a push button on top, it provides great warmth. I read the features about the housing and the cord and decided it would be a safe one to put down there. I like the timer feature too. I did set it up on a plant stand to get it up off the ground. After I ordered it, it occurred to me that I didn’t think to see how long the cord is. The cord is very substantial and should fit anyone’s needs. This is a great little heater. Thanks for the great service too.

Title: Great heater for our bathrooms
Review: We have two bathrooms in our apartment, one bigger than the other. We are in San Francisco, California, and this is our first winter in this apartment. The bathrooms were so chilly in the morning (it is going down to 6ºC at night) as we just have a wall heater in the living room. I first got a basic heater of 500W that was heating a little bit the small bathroom, but needed more than 10 min to feel it, and was not comfortable, just warming a little bit the room. So I decided to try this one, not only because it was more powerful, but also because my husband forgot a couple of times to turn the other off after a shower, so the timer sounds like a feature we were needing.This heater is working sooooo good and fast warming up both bathrooms, the small and the big one.I love the design, it is very nice and has the perfect size. The big button on top is great.I'm giving 4 stars for the only reason that the timer only works in High mode, and if heats a lot. Having the option to use the timer in Low mode will get my extra star. But it is a great product. I totally recommend it and maybe I'll get another one to replace our 500W.

Title: The One-Hour button is perfect.
Review: This unit is simple, powerful enough for the purpose, attractive (for what it is), and did I say that it was simple. Tap the top of the unit with your foot and you get 1 hour of heat. Tap again to be high and again to get low and again to turn off. That's all it does. 1 hour, low, high, and off. Soooo much better than the ones that require all sorts of tapping just to get it to blow out some heat.I shut off the vent to my bathroom to save money. As a result the bathroom is pretty cold. I turn on the heater to the 1-hour setting a few minutes before showering and the room heats up. I take my shower. Get out to a nice warm room. Do the rest of my bathrooming. Tap the heater off with my toe and I'm done. If I forget to turn it off, it will turn off anyway because of the 1-hour setting.I'll reiterate my favorite feature. I love the 1-hour setting. One tap and I don't have to remember anything else. It shuts off after 1 hour. Simple as that. ... and it heats up my medium-sized bathroom within a few minutes.Has it revolutionized my life?No.But it the best solution I've found for a frigid bathroom that makes me feel both comfortable and safe.

Title: This is the one! - It's quiet and safe to use.
Review: Working from home, I'm often on conference calls with clients. I needed a quiet yet effective space heater. I bought four heaters earlier this year and recently. They all claimed to be quiet, but none of them were. I often had to turn the heater off during meetings. I received my order yesterday, and today, I am happy to report how great this one is. I also like the switch on the top to control it with a finger. Lastly, I wanted something safe: BEWARE of noncertified heaters. It must have the UL, ETL, CSA, or TUV logo. And no, CE is not a certification.
