Title: First time user!
Review: I’m a senior woman who never even heard of a potato ricer. I was asked to bring mashed potatoes to my nephews home for Thanksgiving. I peeled 5 pounds of Yukon potatoes and boiled them using my new gadget to put them in a bowl with cream cheese and sour cream, warm milk and WOW! The recipe was the first time I tried adding things besides butter to mashed potatoes. I made them the day before and reheated them in the crockpot on Thanksgiving. Needless to say they were perfect! My new ricer was easy to use and clean using hot water. I’m so thankful I purchased this!

Title: Quality product/Works well
Review: Was easy enough to use even though I have small hands. Cleaning was easy but time consuming to make sure all the corners & crevices were clear; however, it would not work so well if designed differently, so this is something to note but is not a complaint.

Title: Works well, hard to clean
Review: It is so big, and does so much mashing! But its very loose to use. The mash can go between the sides and it doesnt go metal on metal to get the last milimeter of food mashed. Hard to clean cause it's grated and in a confined scoop space; not impossible, just difficult. Hey, it's cheap and works as designed so go for it.

Title: Nicely made, should last a while
Review: I've been through several ricers, they all keep failing in use from not being made strong enough. A little too much pressure and the handles fail. I was looking for a different style and decided to give this unit a try.I've been impressed with the quality of the construction. The handle is strong and comfortable, and one nice little trick is that there's a piece of metal that sticks up that limits the travel of the handle so you can only apply so much force at the end, which should help extend its life. It made nice fluffy potatoes, just be sure they're well cooked and preferable remove the skins before ricing as they plug up the holes.It is a bit of a pain to clean. It does come apart by pulling the pin that holds the two pieces together and that helps, but it's still no fun to clean up. The other issue is that getting it back together is a bit tricky as the pin is a little crooked and doesn't want to go through the second hole to get it back together, it takes a bit of fiddling. All in all though the best inexpensive ricer I've found.

Review: This really does make a difference with mashed potatoes! I always did it the way everyone does it, masher and mixer…and that works and they always turned out good…but using a potato ricer really does produce the creamiest lump free mashed potatoes. I’m glad I decided to try one and it’s the only way I make mashed potatoes now.

Review: This product works really well and very easy to use. It being of heavy metal material allows for easy use. The only issue is trying to clean it but running it under hot water does the trick. I would recommend this product to anyone.
