Title: Perfect Pitter
Review: This cherry pitter is awesome! Solid well made. Easy for kids to assemble and clean. Does the job well. Had a friend whose son choked on a cherry pit… scary, so we opted to buy a pitter. Much easier to use than a hand held pitter. Kids will eat bags of cherries when they are in season. Very happy with product.

Title: Works pretty good
Review: It removes most pits and is fairly quick about it. We are new to putting up cherries. We had a lot of fruit and tag team feed and plunged our way through them pretty quick. I'd say there were 5 % of Pittsburgh that were not completely separated from the fruit. We were able to skim most of the out during the cooking process. But we have learned that you must be extremely careful to get them all as they are deadly to dental work when bitten. We made jam not jelly so maybe we should make jelly next year.

Title: Makes quick work of fresh cherries
Review: Used to pit out a whole bag of cherries. Stained the heck out of my hands and made a bit of a mess, but this is super intuitive to use and feels like it’s made of very durable material.

Title: Fairly decent but...
Review: Pros: easy to put together and simple to operate.Cons: extremely messy, splatters everywhere, feet away from where you're working. Although easy to use, it does not remove every pit. I did six dehydrator trays of cherries, which I cut in half for easy dehydration, and had at least 50 pits remaining. So, if you're looking to use whole cherries for pie or toppings, make sure to examine every cherry you've pitted to make sure the pit is actually gone.

Review: I started loving apples again. And if you get handy with it you can even peel potato with it. It does work for both. You just need to get a hand of it and you will be surprised . For that price you can not go wrong. You might need to add a small tiny touch with knife, as it might skip a tiny bit of peel. But I find that mostly concerned with soft apples. With a large apples you will need to help it to start with a lever on the bottom. Also people complained about suction, it suctions so good , it be hard to take it off. But , you MUST have smooth , clean surface, best granite, marble or even tile, or use a clamp. Also , materials are sharp and solid metal. Overall Definitely a 5 star

Review: Awesome pitter. I used it for small sour cherries and it worked great. WAY faster than traditional methods. My pitting friend complained it would "bruise the fruit" but I never saw any evidence of "bruised" cherries. I'm not even sure what that means as we were cutting them up for jams and pie filling anyways! Didn't matter to me so long as the pit was out and I could be done pitting my haul in one day, instead of 3. Loved this and will never pit cherries without it again!
