Title: Very convenient. Great for Tracfone's BYOP.
Review: These are great to activate a compatible phone on Tracfone. The kit comes with everything you need to activate either an AT&T, Verizon, or unlocked phone on Tracfone. The kit comes with all three sizes of SIM for both GSM (AT&T) or CDMA (Verizon). You can get these for three bucks at Sam's giant department store, but you have to order them from there too, and they take longer to arrive. Since it would just be crazy for Tracfone to sell their own product online, they don't sell these. That was sarcasm, by the way.If you want to see if your phone is compatible, google Tracfone and BYOP. If you have a T-Mobile phone, ignore the button in the middle for T-Mobile. If you click it, it will say that your phone is compatible. Tracfone insists that you can buy a T-Mobile SIM from this link, and they insist that this very kit comes with a T-Mobile SIM, but it isn't true. If you have a T-Mobile phone, it won't work unless it's unlocked, then you use the AT&T SIM. As of this writing, Tracfone's website and their support both claim that you can use a locked T-Mobile phone, and that a T-Mobile SIM exists. But you can't. A Tracfone SIM for T-Mobile phones does not exist. Don't believe Tracfone. This kit does not include a SIM for T-Mobile phones. I've bought three kits, and none of them had this SIM.Anyway, changing from a Tracfone to your own phone under BYOP is pretty painless. I've done it twice without issues. On a third phone, my minutes, texts, and data didn't transfer, but I called and they had it corrected in just a few minutes. It works great. If you order an unlocked phone from Amazon, half the time, there's a link under the phone to tack one of these kits on, so you get it with your phone.9/9/2016 Update:TF now does have a T-Mobile SIM on their website. Of course, right now, it's out of stock. I have no idea if the T-Mobile SIM is included in this kit or not.

Title: Worked fine but only after an online Tracfone chat
Review: I bought a new, unlocked MOTO X Pure from Amazon and added this sim card kit to my order for $1. I put the CDMA nano sim card in the Moto. When I followed the online instructions to switch my Tracfone number from my old phone to the Moto, I freaked out when I got to a message saying "If you proceed with this transaction, only your phone number and service days will be transferred from our TracFone Android to your new Tracfone phone. Any balance remaining in your Android phone cannot be transferred, and will be lost. Do you agree and wish to proceed with the phone number transfer." I clicked on "no," and instead went to the support page on the Tracfone website, and clicked on the "Chat" function in red on the bottom right. I did an online chat with "Marc" at Tracfone. My query to him was essentially: "Hi, I want to switch my account to a BYOP. My old phone is MEID DEC xxxxxxxxx. My new phone is IMEI: xxxxxxxxx and its SIM card number is xxxxxxxxx. Can you help me switch so I keep the balance I currently have for phone, data, and text?" With that info, he did the transfer and kept my balances in the 3 airtime buckets. Within a few minutes, I turned off the Moto, turned it back on and had it working with the proper account balance and service expiration date. Yay!!

Title: Move along, nothing to see here
Review: OK, so I ordered one of these and was able to activate my daughter's iPhone 6 with it. Seemed great. My other daughter also acquired an iPhone 6 (same model, just more memory), and I couldn't get the data to work. Voice & text worked fine, but data would not activate. After much haggling with Tracfone, they recommended I take the phone to Apple and see what was wrong with it. I did, and Apple assured me there was nothing wrong with it.I bought a third one, thinking maybe the SIM card was bad. Tried to get that one programmed and got the same results. Voice & SMS worked, but not data. I then took the first SIM card, the one that worked in my first daughter's iPhone, and put it into the second iPhone. Worked like a champ. Put the third card in the first iPhone, and bam, voice & sms, but no data. So, looked to be either a programming issue on the tracfone side or another bad SIM card.Went to a big box retailer today and bought a SIM card there. Activated it on that second daughter's iPhone without issue. Only had to delete the tracfone profile and install it again, and it worked. Had tried that many times under tracfone's direction with the second and third SIM cards, but just frustrating failure after failure. It's good to note that the packaging I see here in Amazon reflects what I received from Amazon. The package in the big box retailer was different. I suspect outdated SIMs are being sold here in this listing, but have no way to verify that. So, save yourself the headache and low odds of success (1 out of 3 in my experience) and go get one somewhere else. Trying to save a buck cost way to many hours and blood pressure points.
