Title: Upgraded my crockpot game
Review: My old crockpot stopped working, so I was needing a new one quickly. The reviews led me to this ninja crockpot. I love it that it’s an 8.5qt, so it can hold more food. The buttons are easy to work, easy to program, easy to use, and easy to clean. The style and compact size is also really great. I placed my roast on low all night. This morning it was the most tender meat of all time. Incredibly well cooked and didn’t dry it out. The lid that holds the spoon is also genius! It’s not too heavy and has multiple cooking functions which will be handy. Overall I love this as of 10/18/24. Did get the protection plan, as my experience with ninja products have only lasted 1 year. Having the amazon Allstate plan for 4 years covers me for a replacement once past the manufactures warranty. I highly suggest adding it. Very easy to file a claim as well. I do recommend this. Just an awesome slow cooker

Title: Just as advertised
Review: I haven't had it for very long so I'm trying each function and thus far liking it more and more. It sears meats very quickly and evenly so stick close. I'm finding the slow cook feature being faster than my other one using same time and temp thus you may need to adjust yours too. I took it full of a pasta dish for a Church evening meal and an hour later it was still hot. The next evening I took it out of the fridge and set it on to reheat while at the mission service and an hour later I found the food hot but no scorching. By putting 1/2 cup of water and six unpeeled sweet potatoes in it for an hour they were fully cooked and the skins slid right off. I'm pleased that I can make a smaller meal for one by putting each item in for it's time then adding the next item near it and then inserting the short cook time item for it's time. Everything was cooked just right and only one pan to wash. Yes,it is pricey but watching for sales and deals brings it below the comparable items.

Title: Wife's new gadget hits all the right notes - except for one
Review: Bought this as an early Birthday present for my Wife. It arrived all in one piece, nothing broken and the lid fits perfectly. We've used it almost every day since we purchased it. The sear/saute function is the one we use the most and it works great but Wife is complaining that it only has a high/low setting no medium. We've also used the slow cook function and the steam function. Both work just fine. We have not yet used the proof/bake function - I'll update once we use that.The controls are pretty intuitive. The cord is very short, so when using it where a power source isn't in the immediate vicinity, you might need an extension cord.The capacity of this thing is amazing. We often feed 8 plus people and this held plenty of Pasta sauce and even my Bigos recipe is not enough to fill it up.Overall it's a great buy and without the missing medium temperature function I (and the Wife) would give it a solid five stars.
