Title: Well made, easy to open and load, and holds lots of bait!
Review: Never thought I'd have a 'favorite rat bait station', but here it is.I inherited the rat problem at a newly acquired property and with it came two 'professional' bait stations that require two flat head screw drivers to open and require way more fussing with than I'd like with something that lays behind streetside garbage cans and has rats entering it regularly. These bait stations, on the other hand, pop open with ease using the supplied key, or can be fitted with a permanently attached key option if you don't require them to be child-safe. They flip right open, you drop in 8 bait blocks, and move on with your life. The price is right and quality is there, unlike many of the other options available here. Would buy again.

Title: Best bait stations
Review: These bait stations work great. We have them around the outside of our house, outside the lawn areas, underneath our truck we park outside, under our travel trailer. We used to have rodents, specifically voles now they are gone. I mean gone!!

Title: Product expectations
Review: I received the Tomcat Outpost bait station today.I've never used a product like this before. It came and set up easily.Quality seems good. I believe it was a good purchase based on needs.I'm hoping to kill mice and/or rats before they enter my home or shed.

Title: Better than expected
Review: It's rare that I get a product that's better than I expect. These things work. I had a dead rat in less than 24 hours after I put them out. Yes they are expensive, yes the instructions could be a little clearer on how to install the keyless opening feature and yes they don't come with bait. I'm 80 years old and I really didn't have too much trouble with any of that.The biggest challenge is figuring out where to place them and keeping all the dead rats picked up and disposed of. I have a fenced yard with no kids or pets so the keyless opening feature is really convenient.I feed birds and live next to a wooded area, so my rat problem was getting out of hand. I tried traps and some homemade bait, but the problem seemed to be getting worse. I was initially put off by the high price, but I had to try something. I'm glad I did.

Review: These open with a special "key" so extremely easy compared to any other style I've used or seen. Definitely won't buy any other type. Also extremely effective on rat demise!!

Title: Child and pet proof
Review: I recently got these, so I don’t know how effective they are.We have had rats droppings in our back yard.The lids are secured and need a special key to be opened, so pets and kids can’t get to them.They don’t trap rats. The rats go in there to eat the bait and go die off somewhere. So you don’t actually know how well they work.You need to buy the baits separately

Title: Well built and does the job
Review: These bait stations feel very sturdy and they were easy to open for replacing the bait. Best of all, buying these bait stations and bait is significantly cheaper than paying for rodent removal service when all they did was place 4 of these bait stations around my house and come every other month to replace the bait.
