Title: good
Review: I bought 2 of these for my dogs protection in the car. Because they don't like riding in the car, we don't go in the car often, so I haven't tried out the dog safety harnesses yet on them.

Title: Sturdy Car Harness
Review: I would have given 5 stars but itâs tough to clip the sides on the harness. In fairness we are using it for a puppy who is still very active. We will continue to use and once she is past the puppy stage this will be a 5 star product Iâm sure. Well made and our puppy does not get all twisted in it. We tried a tether attachment to a harness and she was all twisted in it.

Title: Had this crash tested harness since 2018 and we love it.
Review: This is an excellent car harness.I researched years ago and was impressed with all the testing including crash testing Ruffwear did with this product. On their website and YouTube are the videos of the crash tests and detailed info of how they modeled them after child restraints. My dog can sit, and lay down comfortably while safely restrained in her seat. At times, I also use a dog booster seat so she can see out the windows which eliminates care sickness and the harness has worked flawlessly with that too. It's a major peace of mind to know my dog is as safe as I can get her when we head out on the road. I do not understand people who allow their pets to roam the interior or even more, sit on their laps in front of airbags and steering wheels. That is NOT loving your pet. It is worth every penny to keep them safely restrained.I've purchased this harness for 3 other dogs and their owners have all been very happy with it too.

Title: Did not fit my dog
Review: The items was as quality as described, but it did not fit my dog. Mini poodle 9.2 lbs, girth 16. Bought XXS, too tight so returned it. I believe XS would be too big, especially down the front...

Title: Design issue
Review: It's well made and I'm sure would restrain a dog in the event of a crash if properly installed. My issue is I think the lower edge of the thorax panel, which is fairly stiff, pushes into both of my dogs abdomens when they are sitting. I think standing or lying down it's fine but sitting looks uncomfortable. The torso pad either should be shortened, reshaped, or less stiff so it doesn't push into the abdomen. I could loosen the rear strap but that defeats the purpose. If your dog has a long torso it might be Ok.

Title: I could not get it on
Review: Its a bit of a nightmare to get this thing on the dog and then get it to fit. There is no explanation how to put it on and how to tighten or loose the thousands of straps. It is very stiff and uncomfortable. I wanted this to secure the dog in a Jeep Wrangler. The dog is not able to roam around in the car. I do not recommend this harness. Going straight back.
