Title: Great crock pot
Review: This is a good size crock pot. It is large enough for a pot roast. I like the digital hours setting. The pot actually counts down as it cooks. I thought it was a great price for the money. The lid lock is just a rubberized band. Our meal turned out delicious.

Title: Great Slow Cooker
Review: This replaced a slow cooker that was over 20 years old. Works like a champ! The only “negative” (if it even is one) is that mine cooks pretty hot on the High setting. Much hotter than my old one. So, anything cooked on High, I’d start checking an hour earlier than normal. All in all, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Title: Only worked one time. Worst product I ever bought.
Review: I'll start on a positive note. Our old Hamilton Beach slow cooker has been going strong for over 20 years. The only reason I bought a new one was to get one that was larger and programmable. Well, the new one came in and only worked one time. The second time I used it, I put chicken and other ingredients in it, set it, and left for the day. When I came back, the chicken was raw and I had to throw everything out. The brand new Hamilton Beach slow cooker quit working after one use.Thankfully, Amazon customer service is amazing and they rushed me another one out immediately and credited my account for $10 to make up for some of the cost of the food I had to throw out. I assumed that Hamilton Beach was a quality product and I just got a dud. Imagine my complete and utter disappointment that the brand new slow cooker they rushed out to me worked for about three hours, then quit. The lights were still on, but it had stopped heating. I switched to another outlet, thinking maybe it was a problem with the outlet, even though I knew it was getting electricity--the lights were on. It did not work in the other outlet. I plugged my old slow cooker in and it works great, so I know that it is 100% this piece of crap brand new Hamilton Beach slow cooker.I cannot express how disgusted I am that between two brand new Hamilton Beach slow cookers they only worked long enough to make one meal. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product and suggest you do the same. Final rating, NEGATIVE ONE STAR.To end on a positive note, I would like to reiterate that Amazon customer service was amazing to work with both times. They are taking care of me, no questions asked.

Title: Exactly what I needed!
Review: My other crock pot I had for years developed a crack in the ceramic and it was my favorite but sadly it was time to replace. I love this new crick pot for all the features, especially the lid lock, which saved me having to buy a separate carrier and it's so easy to put in place before transporting in my car.I love the timer features as well to help me track when it's time to go to he next step for certain recipes I'm making. Only down side is I prefer a deep round pot like my last one but this one is very solid in quality and maintaining even temp while cooking.

Let me tell you why.To begin with, this slow cooker would be perfect for a large family or weekly meal prepper. This product can make preparing dinner a stress free process due to its large size and ease of usage. A weekly meal prepper can make a week’s worth of lunches and dinners in a few hours with minimal preparation. This product is ideal for these types of users in build quality, design, and performance.Build Quality The actual pot that holds the food is made of stoneware which allows for even heating. Even heating is particularly important when making large quantities since the center takes longer to heat up than the food in contact with the cookware. Stoneware in general is known for its durability and strength whether it is used in a slow cooker, a baking pan, or in pots and pans for the stove. The stoneware pot is very easy to clean, even when I made a cheesy chicken and broccoli casserole where the cheese would normally stick to my bakeware like super glue.DesignThis slow cooker’s design is neat and clean contributing to its ease in usage. Review: This gets used regularly and it fits a lot of food! (2 packages of Costco ribs/ 2 beef roasts/ a LARGE chicken for some examples- We like to cook once and have plenty for leftovers.) The capacity of this slow cooker is about as big as they get. A few other features that I like are the rubber strap for the lid, the hole in the lid for a thermometer and the on/off button. The one we replaced had to be unplugged to turn it off. This is more convenient. It would have been nice to have a meat thermometer included but a barbecue one works just fine.

Review: Me tomé varias semanas para buscar las mejor olla de cocción lenta; lei las opiniones de personas sobre varias marcas.Encontré que las Hamilton Beach son las más vendidas y mejor calificadas.Ésta olla en específico tenía muchísimos comentarios (la mayoría buenos y algunos malos) y las más altas calificaciones.Yo las compré para hacer caldo de hueso; solo la he usado una vez pero me pareció muy buena.En los cometarios malos habían dicho que el calor de las olla calentaba toda la cocina, no fue así en muy caso, para nada.Decían que tenía muy pocas opciones de programación, yo creo ques tiene las necesarias.Mi olla estuvo prendida 10 horas sin ningún tipo de problema; la dejé prendida de dia y sonríe hubo gente en mi casa pues algunos de los comentarios narraban malas experiencias al dejar la olla sin supervisión. Yo no tuve ningún problema.No sé cuánta energía eléctrica use, pero ese es otro tema.Algunos comentarios hablaban de que se les rompía la tapa de cristal, para prevenir esto o cualquier otro problema futuro compré también una garantía de 2 años p electrodomésticos que te ofrecen al hacer tu compra.Como dije, sólo las he usado una vez pero cumplió mis expectativas.
