Title: Great gift for Readerâs Digest enthusiast
Review: I bought this for my grandparents after I was helping them to clean their house and throwing away some decades old issues I had no idea they still wanted. I bought this to redeem myself and they were delighted to find some of their favorite articles as well as some they werenât familiar with. Would recommend for anyone who has enjoyed Readerâs Digest over the years!

Title: Disappointing
Review: I was expecting the wonderful, classic articles & stories that appeared in RD in the 1960s and 70s. This book is made up of recent stories. They're short and lacking in depth or fine writing. I read most of them when they were first published. It's certainly not worth the price. I'll return this one.

Review: I am an avid reader of collections of old rd articles and am always in search for such books. I have enjoyed a lot of such books. Therefore, I was thrilled when I came across this book alongwith its volume 2. I immediately ordered both. While going through the books, initially I was a bit disappointed. The books didn't seem to contain best of rd articles published in rd over the years. Most of the articles included were those published very recently, and prima facie looked less appealing by rd's standard. But after reading several of them, I found them a very good selection and very refreshing as well. These books though fall short of the best of RD claim, but still are good read. A must buy for ardent RD lovers.
