Title: Put into Solar Lights
Review: My wife bought some solar lights. A few didn't work - the batteries were fully discharged (in shipping?)I soldered a jumper to short across each on/off switch so the charge/discharge current would not be disrupted.I then put these Amazon NiMH cells in to replace the dead originals. The modified lights shine brighter and last longer after cloudy days than the lights that were already working as received from the marketer.

These batteries have quickly become my go-to choice for all my devices.I dont even buy regular batteries anymore.Performance: 2000 mAh, these batteries hold a charge exceptionally well. I’ve used them in everything from remote controls to my kids’ toys, flashlights, anything and everything that takes them and they last significantly longer than standard alkaline batteries. Plus, I love that they come pre-charged and ready to use right out of the package!Rechargeability: The ability to recharge these batteries up to 1000 times is a huge selling point. Not only is it more environmentally friendly, but it also saves money in the long run. I’ve been recharging them without any issues, and they continue to perform like new. Im hoping they will last the full 1000 charges at 80% or better capacityValue: The 16-count pack is awesome for households like mine where we seem to go through batteries quickly. If i run out ill just buy another 16 pack. Review: I've bought several batches of these batteries and have been using them for about a year. They hold a charge well and work in every application I've tried. They run out a little fast in XBox controllers, but that's to be expected with rechargeables.

Review: Good:- I measured that they do indeed have their rated capacity of 2000mAh.- I measured these cells, and they will provide up to 8 amps of current. This is very good, and it is more than enough power for any AA powered device.- They are low self discharge (but not as good as Eneloops). They should still be able to hold a good charge for up to a year, but I haven't measured that yet. They come about 60% charged in the package.- Inexpensive compared to Eneloops, about half the price.Bad:- They are thick. Fine in flashlights, but a tight fit in battery compartments for other things. Most devices should be able to handle them, but I found they are too tight for my Honeywell furnace control.- Lower voltage than Eneloop (by 0.05v) when fully charged.- Capacities are less consistent than Eneloops (don't discharge them too far in multi-cell batteries), but still reasonable enough as long as you recharge them before you drain them completely.- Made in ChinaUnknown:- How long will they really last, in terms of cycles and years? They'll have to last at least 5 years to make these a better buy over Japanese NiMH cells like Eneloops (which last 10+ years).- Amazon likely changes sources occasionally, so you might not get the same battery in a year or two.
