As a kid with a working mom, I was practically brought up on slow cooked food. I'm not complaining, I probably had the most delicious childhood in the whole world. I loved my mom's recipes so much that I decided to become a professional cook, and the Crockpot will always have a special spot in my heart. All slow cooker recipes have one thing on their side: TIME!! Normally cooked foods cannot compare to slow cooked foods when it comes to flavor and texture.
Of all the recipes my mother passed down to me, the chicken recipes were one of my favorites. That's why I want to dedicate a whole book to Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes. Pretty much every chicken recipe you can think of can be cooked using the slow cooker, and this book is the written proof of this fact. Title: This is an amazing book, full of delicious recipes for your slow cooker! A must have!
Review: My crock pot and me are best friends! I love using it, and I love finding new yummy recipes to make in it! This book is FULL of them!!! 120 recipes, you can not beat how many that is for this price, its exceptional! Plus they all sounds yummy and the ones I have tried so far I can vouch for being extremely Delicious! Cheezy Creamy Chicken is my all time favorite so far!!

Review: I am going Julia Julia on this book (except I am not writing a blog). Once a week, I am making a recipe starting from the beginning! I am SUPER EXCITED!!!! Most ingredients are on hand so I will just need to pick up one or two things per recipe! Move over hot cocoa! My new cold weather remedy is crockpot chicken!!!!

Title: Found a few gems here.
Review: I love chicken, and this book has a lot of chicken recipes to choose from. There are sweet, sour, savory, and simple recipes, as well as a few with a bit more work to them. Many called for canned condensed soup (forbidden in my home), but substitutions can easily be made.The book could have done with a last edit to catch spelling and page layout errors. Inclusion of nutritional information would have been nice as well, since many families have to watch carbs, sodium, calories, etc.

Review: These are easy recipes. Look through them and you can make a list of ingredients to keep on hand at all times. Great for women who have families and work. Throw in the ingredients and go out the door! It doesn't get any better than that!
