THE INSTANT NATIONAL BESTSELLER
A warm and stylish Southern cookbook, from the owners of the beloved Nashville-based The Peach Truck, celebrating all things peach in 100 fresh and flavorful recipes.
When Stephen and Jessica Rose settled in Nashville, they fell in love with their new city. Their only reservation: Where were the luscious peaches that Stephen remembered from his childhood in Georgia? Amid Nashville’s burgeoning food scene, the couple partnered with his hometown peach orchard to bring just-off-the-tree Georgia peaches to their adopted city, selling them out of the back of their 1964 Jeep Gladiator in Nashville’s farmer’s markets. Since starting their company in 2012, Stephen and Jessica have attracted a quarter of a million followers on social media and have delivered more than 4.5 million peaches to tens of thousands of customers in 48 states. With The Peach Truck Cookbook, the couple brings the lusciousness of the Georgia peach and the savory and sweet charms of Southern cooking, as well as the story behind their success and an insider’s guide to the Nashville food scene, to readers everywhere.
From first bites to easy lunches to mouth-watering dinner dishes and sumptuous desserts, The Peach Truck Cookbook captures the Southern cooking renaissance with fresh, delectable, farm-to-table recipes that are easy to follow and feature peaches in every form. Whether you’re craving peach pecan sticky buns, peach jalapeno cornbread, white pizza with peach, pancetta, and chile, or minty peach lemonade—or have always wanted to try your hand at making a classic peach pie—Stephen and Jessica have you covered. Many of Nashville’s most celebrated hotspots and chefs, including Sean Brock, Lisa Donovan, and Tandy Wilson, have contributed recipes, so you’ll also get a how-to on cult menu items such as Sean Brock’s Double Cheeseburger with Peach Ketchup, Mas Tacos Peach Tamales, and Burger Up’s Peach Truck Margarita. Also included are beautiful photographs illustrating each recipe and a pocket peach education—as Jessica and Stephen take you through peach varieties, best harvesting practices, and everything you need to know to have a peach-stocked pantry.
Full of character and charm, The Peach Truck Cookbook is not only an essential addition to the peach-lover’s kitchen, it will bring the beauty of summer to your table all year round.

Title: Well Tested and Delicious Recipes
Review: Full disclosure: When I picked The Peach Truck Cookbook off my bookshelf to cook from this week, my husband wrinkled his nose and insisted he didnât âreally likeâ peaches. Nine recipes later, heâs definitely changed his mind! The Peach Tree Cookbook begins with fairly detailed introduction to peaches and the Peach Truck history and contains recipes for breakfast, small bites, lunch, sides, dinner, drinks, desserts and pantry staples. This is a very colorful, bright book and most recipes include pictures of the finished dishes.I love that it laid flat on my counter and that I could all of the ingredients at my local grocery store. I also appreciated that recipes included both the active preparation and total time till I'd have dinner on the table.Peach Dutch Baby â Usually I like to make little changes to recipes, but this was perfect as written. My husband says that itâs a delicious mix of pancakes and French toast. Donât skip on the powdered sugar!Sweet Sorghum Grits â Wow. I substituted maple syrup for sorghum syrup and skipped the hemp seeds. This is delicious and could almost be served as a dessert! I had never tried soaking grits before cooking them, but I have to agree that the extra step is worth the effort and leads to a creamier, better tasting final dish!Peach Caprese Salad â All my life, Iâve never thought to add peaches to a caprese salad, but what a wonderful addition they make. The dressing was a step up from my usual balsamic/olive oil mix!Buttermilk Biscuits with Peach Truck Freezer Jam â The freezer jam really makes these biscuits! It comes together quickly and is well worth the effort. Plus youâll have plenty left over to eat later!Grilled Hangar Steak with Grilled Peach Halves, Scallions, and Chili-Lime Butter â This was the only recipe Iâve tried that wouldnât be a make-again. The steak was kind of boring to be honest.Pearl Couscous with Chickpeas, Eggplant and Peaches â Yum! Be sure to make extra because this is great to take for lunch.Overall, The Peach Truck Cookbooks is a great collection of simple, well-tested and delicious recipes. Iâd recommend this one to every home cook (who likes peaches).

Title: Yummy
Review: I picked up my first order of peaches from The Peach Truck and got a delicious box of peaches. I had no idea what to do with them all once I completed my repertoire of peach recipes. This book had more ideas of delicious alternatives! I thought the jam was particularly tasty and simple. Great recipes for marinating your peaches for different additions to desserts or grill, salads or meat. A+

Title: Buy the actual book
Review: The recipes are amazing, but don't buy the Kindle version, the layout isn't conducive to actually using your tablet as a cookbook. Decent amount of frustration trying to read through and search everything.

Title: What's a dish without peach in it even like? I can't remember anymore.
Review: This cookbook is my new standard for cooking at home. Everything from a breakfast smoothie or a hearty salad to a pulled pork sandwich with peaches or a classic peach pie--it truly has something for every mood or occasion. I'm not an experienced or naturally skilled chef, but I am good at following directions. And luckily, that's all you need to make these dishes and fool people into thinking you've got a Food Network show in the works. The recipes are simple--usually no more than a few steps--and are explained in a delightful, easy-to-follow way. A helpful inclusion is the amount of hands-on time and total time needed for every dish, which can help give me an idea of when to plan on a meal being ready. The book also helpfully includes substitutions if a harder-to-find ingredient isn't available. And the photos of the dishes are shot beautifully. Oh, and obviously, the final result is delicious. You can also get a lot of use out of this even if it isn't peach season. Since a lot of the recipes include how to make things like pie crust, empanada dough, etc., this can be a great resource if you want to, say, make an apple pie for the holidays but want the crust to be better than a frozen store-bought one. There are also instructions for canning and freezing peaches, and a whole pantry section if you want to make a peach hot sauce or peach ketchup that you can keep in your fridge for months.I really can't say enough about this cookbook. I hope you'll get it and enjoy it like I have.I've attached pictures of a few of the recipes I've made. 1. Stone Fruit Crostini; 2. Proscuitto, Burrata, and Pan-Roasted Peach Salad; 3. Sweet and Spicy Empanadas; 4. White Pizza with Peach, Pancetta, and Chile.

Title: The Best Cookbook I've Purchased in Years!
Review: This cookbook is one of the best cookbooks I have purchased in years and I will be buying a copy for everyone I know. The recipes that I have made are all delicious and attainable for myself as a home cook - and are also really fun to create. I have never thought of using a peach in some of these ways, so it's expanding my knowledge as well. I think it's important that the book is not only beautiful, with great reference photos, but that my recipes are actually turning out and I'm happy with the results. I highly recommend The Peach Truck Cookbook!
