Title: Salmon, Who Knew?
Review: Okay, it's my daughter's birthday and her favorite entree is salmon, so I get out my few salmon recipes and go, blah. I get out my many more than a few cookbooks, concentrating on California (forty something, I've been collecting for awhile), and nope, nothing really stellar, so, to Amazon we go, following so much of my husband's money, he says, mumbling, and voila! Here is LaDonna Gundersen's LITTLE ALASKAN SALMON COOKBOOK. She'll even let me read it in Kindle Unlimited, so I do. But I buy it, because she knows her salmon stuff. She and her husband catch it and also eat it while they are out on the boat. They KNOW their stuff and don't fussy it up with ingredients that are arcane outside the west coast (can't speak for east coast, salmon hang around here, the left coast). They know what they like! Now I know what I like, so sorry Frank, I bought all her other cookbooks as well. Try her. She lets you do that for free, but buy her cookbook to keep, you won't regret it, because salmon not only tastes good, it is good for you. So is LaDonna.

Title: Get The Little Salmon Cookbook!
Review: This little cookbook is a gem. Ms Gundersen works a salmon fishing boat in Alaska. The weather can be rough, the galley space compact and the cooking equipment limited. All this does not mean meals cannot be varied (even though there is only one entree, Salmon) and very delicious. The recipes in The Little Alaskan Salmon Cookbook are simple with quick easy preparation steps made with easily obtained common ingredients. The end result is easily restaurant quality! I have tried a number of the recipes and was very happy with dinners that did not require a Cordon Bleu trained chef to duplicate in my kitchen. The cookbook contains Salmon appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches and burgers, main dishes and dessert (no Salmon in the deserts!). If you like Salmon and it is very good for you, you should get The Little Alaskan Salmon Cookbook. Thank you LaDonna for sharing your recipes with us!

Title: Bursting at the seams w/mouth-watering recipes!!
Review: This hardback book may be little, (approx. 6"x8") but it's bursting at the seams with mouth-watering recipes. I'm new to Cardamom spice and this book has Cardamom cookies! There's a guide showing the different fish used, great recipes for salads, nibbles, main dishes and some mouth-watering desserts. The book also has gorgeous Alaskan photography done by Mrs. Gunderson's husband. It's hard not to drool over this one.

Title: This Lady Can Cook!
Review: I originally was looking for a few Alaskan cookbooks to send down South with some of the fish I caught this season for friends and family. After trying some of these recipes, however, the books by this author never made it down there. I am keeping them all as they really are amazingly delicious and easy to follow. Fun to read and high quality outcomes with the recipes-- these are keepers

Title: Love her recipes
Review: We are an Alaskan fishing family. Love her recipes. Especially the salmon sliders. Pictures are the best as it gives you an idea about how it looks to fish Southeast Alaska.
