For Helen, it was a kind of ‘life in review’, while Dixie was a seasoned teacher by this time and had lived the principles nearly her whole life. As much as she was Helen’s lifelong protégée, she was also her mother’s philosophical sparring partner and the result is that the sequel bears Dixie's mark as much as it does Helen's. Fascinating Womanhood for the Timeless Woman is not merely a book of personal or moral opinions. It’s based in part on modern science, over 50 years of teaching experience and feedback, and most importantly, results. While Helen's approach to Fascinating Womanhood began as an academic exercise, with her consulting experts, authors, and other reputable sources in order to add new wisdom to her concepts, it’s evolution came about mostly through a process of application and feedback via the international teaching program. With assistance from her husband Dr. Robert D. Title: Empowering on a another level
Review: After reading the vintage edition of Fascinating Womanhood, I just knew I had to get my hands on this one too. I was right! The books is written in a very powerful way, and for me who has struggled with identity and the feministic view of what a woman should be, it gave a powerful message: I'm amazing for just being who I am, and powerful too. I truly think women of todays world can benefit from this book and lead better lives.

Title: The best book this avid reader has ever read!
Review: This book is phenomenal. The art work is beautiful and the content is inspiring and ultimately life changing. I'm already reading it a second time and will be getting each of my daughters their own copy. I also have the revised book of Fascinating Womanhood that Mrs. Helen Andelan Forsyth revised that her late mother wrote. It's fantastic as well. These books have the power to inspire the most beautiful marriage even if your marriage is on the rocks. I can't recommend them enough. 5 star book I'm so glad I bought! Cassy Satterfield

Title: Truths that Society Ignores
Review: Dixie Andelin Forsyth has updated her mother's classic text to reflect societal changes (both positive and negative) and give solid advice on how to create a positive marriage. The truth is that men and women are different. Men are "wired" to look to women to make them feel nurtured, loved, and (above all) respected. Dixie makes it clear that women should invest their efforts in men that are worthy of their respect. Her advice is for women who have found (or hope to find) a "good one" and how to help him feel that you are his soulmate, partner, and lover in ways that build a foundation for a solid, lasting, loving relationship.

Title: Not without its flaws, but still a good book.
Review: I bought the kindle version of this book after watching many FW videos on YouTube. Overall, I would say it’s a good read. It’s not without its issues, though. The author does make some claims not backed by science (and not really relevant to the purpose of the book). For example, the author claims that legalization of abortion has led to women treating their children like objects. Purely speculation and opinion (PEOPLE have treated children like objects since the beginning of time, so…) but again, overall I think this book is still worth reading. I do think it gives a more balanced perspective on feminine/masculine dynamics without being heavily rooted in white supremacy, so, that’s a win for me. Would absolutely recommend (with some caution!) if you’re looking to grow your femininity and better understand men.

Title: Not a sequel but an improvement on the original
Review: I don't really buy that this is a sequel. It's the successor to the original, which has some fundamental as well as minor flaws.I would exclusively recommend this version of FW to all women I know. Vintage FW contains an excerpt from a satisfied reader who applied to FW teachings to turn her severely emotionally abusive husband around. It seems that FW Vintage considers emotional abuse (adultery, insults, comparing with other women) unforgivable. There is no way the principles of FW can forever reverse a truly abusive man.

Très intéressant à lire, car il va contre les idéologies d'aujourd'hui (vivre ensemble, sexe libre).Ici et là, je pense qu'elle porte beaucoup de jugement sur les femmes monoparentales. Ayant veçu cette situation moi-même, je peux dire que ça demande beaucoup de courage.Je trouve la façon d'écrire interpellant et je le conseille à toute femme (même si l'on est pas d'accord avec ses principes - ca donne beaucoup de matière à réfléchir).

Review: I am so excited by this book! I love the classic edition of Fascinating Womanhood by Helen Andelin and the vintage edition which was updated by Helen's daughter Dixie Andelin Forsyth is on my wishlist too. But this edition ............ the Timeless edition ....... is not just an updated version of a previous book. It is a sequel! I admit I was wary as I loved the classic edition but it is lovely even as a stand alone book. It is much more inclusive and adapted to women living in the modern world while still maintaining traditional values.I love and recommend Timeless even to those who haven't read the classic or vintage editions of Fascinating Womanhood. It has all the good of the original but it made even better. Personally, though I loved the classic edition, I struggled with actually applying the teachings and because I didn't fit into the typical mold of reader. Not so with Timeless as there are so many practical examples and it feels more like a book to learn from with tips to become more fascinating in every area of life. It also feels a lot more inclusive so working women are included as are step mothers. That made my heart so happy!
