Title: Keeps down the mess
Review: Similar to my homemade 5 gallon bucket feeder however unlike my bucket this has the cone top that keeps the hens off and the internal feeders requires them to reach in and eat which has reduced wastage and kept the feed clean.

Review: I use these for grit and oyster shells. It would work well to feed a couple of chickens but a bit small if you have more. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and keeps the contents dry. Perfect size for what I use them for.

Title: Not as good as I hoped
Review: I do like the fact that less feed is wasted but when the amount is depleted the chickens can't reach the food unless I remove the lid and shift it around. Container could be larger.

Title: Turning out great!
Review: I have three chicks I'm raising, they are about a couple weeks in. I started with small feeder from local store. The problem with that feeder is chicken poop would get inside the holes, and they wouldn't be able to eat at same time.This one works great, they can all eat at same time, you can see em in photo, and keeps the food clean because they pop their head in to get the feed. The pyramid top stops them from roosting, so keeps the overall bucket clean. Happy with purchase, just bought the water feeder from same seller that I will hook up later.

Title: Port is a little small
Review: Looking at the picture before buying I thought this was going to be perfect. After I assembled it, I thought it was going to be perfect. But when I put it in the coop, I noticed the port to access food(or oyster shell in my case) was small, and my chickens don't particularly want to stick there head in there to get it out. I am hoping they get used to it but it is certainly a smaller than it could be to give them a little more room to stick their heads in to get whatever you have in there. I may have to modify it if they don't get used to it but it was the cheapest option and its just for grit and oyster shell.

Review: I purchased this product thinking it would keep the chick good clean. It does!,,, BECAUSE the chicks cannot get at the food. AS THE SHAFTS ARE TOO DEEP. We had to cut the inserts by at least 1/2 so the chicks could see the food. BY THAT TIME THEY WOULDN’T USE IT.SO I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
