Title: Inspirational and gorgeous
Review: As an avid cookbook reader, I think the format and content of this book is amazing. Part biography, part culinary portrait of a region, and park cookbook, I found it inspirational on multiple levels. This book is for anyone who loves food and is curious about the people who nourish others for a living. It's also full of recipes and gorgeous photography that encourage me to try these dishes at home. There should be more books like this!

Title: Love Seattle Cuisine? Buy This Book!
Review: I have lived in Seattle for almost a quarter of a century and have loved watching the restaurant/cocktail culture evolve over the years. Julien Perry's cookbook is a MUST for those of us who live in the Puget Sound -- and all those who have enjoyed the regional cuisine as a visitor.Perry does a perfect job talking with top chefs in the area and presenting a wide variety of recipes. Other than the Joy of Cooking, Perry's cookbook has quickly become my go-to recipe finder. The chef stories and photography are spectacular. BUY THIS BOOK!

Title: A beautiful piece of Seattle history
Review: Julien's book is not just a great cookbook, it's also a celebration of this moment in time in Seattle food history. The chefs she's included cover a diverse view of the city, with a lens on variety in cuisines, as well as recent vs long-time contributors to our food culture. I'm so excited to read this as a yearbook as well as a cookbook as well as a gorgeous coffee table book I'll be proud to display for years to come.
