Title: Don’t like the organization
Review: I knew it when I got it, but it bothered me more than expected: this book is organized by service, not location. For example, all hotels are listed under “hotels,” regardless of where they are. I don’t really want to read about hotels in Dallas, if I’m staying in Fort Worth. I only want to hear about hotels in Fort Worth. Same for restaurants. I don’t want to wade through restaurant listings that are not where I’m going.Of course, that’s partly why travel books don’t exist much anymore. I just wanted something to glance through when no wi-fi is available. But this was just not how I like information presented.

Title: An used book
Review: I paid for a new book, but received a used one. Someone has made notes in it. The information provided by this book is out of dates already, so the book didn’t help my trip at all.

Title: "Meh" - very "city of Dallas" focused, vs whole DFW area
Review: I was disappointed by this guide book as it is very focused on Dallas proper (which makes sense when you read the author's bio who's from the inner Dallas area). Unfortunately, there is very scant information about the greater DFW area, which is where the major explosion of growth has occurred. There is a very basic overview of Fort Worth/Stockyards but no more than you'd find online yourself. Unless you are specifically looking for inner Dallas information (and even that is a bit dated), I'd skip this guide book entirely.

Title: Reading Up for a Bachelorette Trip
Review: Got this to read up on places to go and things to do on my daughters bachelorette trip. Provides good and concise information.
