Title: Each Edition Gets Worse
Review: I have stayed often at most of the small beach towns along the Riviera Nayarit. This new edition adds to the disappointing trend in travel guide books: more photos, more upscale locales, more fluff - less useful information. The page/chapter count are high for upscale Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita, La Crux H., and Sayulita. Everything north (San Pancho, Lo de Marcos, Los Ayala, La Peñita, etc). gets hardly any mention. Some of the land transportation recommendations are incomplete or misleading (e.g. going to north Chacala via Las Varas makes little sense).

Title: Great guidebook
Review: This was a great guidebook for us! It gives great detail on the areas North of PV that we visited. The author is very familiar with the area and gives great suggestions on hikes, beaches, and surrounding areas, plus hidden gems. Very organized with beautiful photography included. I highly recommend it!
