Discover the official story of In-N-Out Burger––how three generations have created a thriving, family-owned company, why its fans are so wildly loyal, and what led to its explosive growth and evolution into an iconic part of American culture––as told by In-N-Out Burger’s president, Lynsi Snyder.

When Lynsi Snyder's grandparents founded In-N-Out Burger in 1948, they built it with a passion for quality and service that Lynsi embraced at a young age. After starting as a store associate at age seventeen, she then worked in other departments, gaining first-hand experience with almost every aspect of the family business until she became president in 2010. She has led the company through explosive growth––today, there are three-hundred and eighty stores and counting––and is deeply committed to the well-being of the In-N-Out Burger family.

In The Ins and Outs of In-N-Out, you'll:

Gain key insights into why In-N-Out has maintained its very popular and limited menu for more than seventy-five-years and why it has refused to franchise or go publicHear behind-the-scenes stories from In-N-Out Associates, including from one gentleman who worked in the very first storeLearn about the Snyder family's Christian faith, including her grandmother Esther's belief in the gospel and her uncle's "born-again" experience that shaped his life and leadership at the companyDiscover why Lynsi has been ranked as one of the top presidents in the restaurant industry and how her personal challenges have fortified her faith and shaped her dedication to servant leadership

In-N-Out Burger has drawn fiercely loyal fans––from professional chefs and burger aficionados to celebrities and scores of everyday customers––who not only crave the burgers, fries, and milkshakes but also come back again and again for the community.

Title: Congrats on 75 Years! Wonderful Book! Make it into a Movie!
Review: First, thank you to Lynsi and all the associates at In N Out! The Book was a wonderful ride down memory lane about the history of In N Out! From humble beginnings, to constant growth but not compromising quality, to tragedy with Rich's unexpected death, then Guy's passing, the story would make an Inspiring movie! In 2010, I read the other well known book: "In-N-Out Burger: A Behind-the-Counter Look at the Fast-Food Chain That Breaks All the Rules Paperback" I also read that book in just a few days and couldn't put it down. Lynsi's book has that more personal touch with her sharing her faith journey and stories relating to what she has been through, noting that she may write another book just explaining her triumphs and failures after her fathers passing. Lastly, In N Out has an amazing story to it, and this book outlines it beautifully. At the restaurant level, In N Out has mastered the customers experience, Thank you again for writing this wonderful book.

Title: Amazing read!!! Couldn’t put the book down..a got to have for any IN N OUT fan!!!
Review: Been a loyal IN N OUT fan my whole life and always respected their “keep it simple” concept. Being in the restaurant industry my self for 20+ years these guys were always the place to try and mimic and mirror what the did. Outstanding service, product and people. They have had their ups and downs that nobody knew behind the scenes until you read this book, great job to the Snyder family leadership team that has kept the same principles, faith, and core values since they open the doors in 1948 and now are celebrating 75 years. Your family would be proud of you Lynsi Snyder keep dreaming !!! WOW WOW

Title: seeing behind the curtain
Review: I grew up in California, and was raised on In-N-Out burgers. My family and I moved to Texas in 2002. We were thrilled when we heard it was coming to Texas in 2011. Our son was fortunate enough to get hired and open the Allen, TX store. He is still with the company today. Thank you to NetGalley for sending me an Advanced Reader copy. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing behind the curtain of this company, and enjoy it even more!

Review: Great book and really easy reading. Opened the box and finished the book within a couple of hours. Story is very interesting to me, but I worked at the company for many years and might have a bias.
