Title: The Best Since Clay Yeager's Redemption
Review: I could not believe my eyes when I read the back cover of this book. I always pre-order anything from Justine Davis so I hadn't taken the time to read the excerpt before receiving it. I'm not going to give a synopsis of the book, but just my opinion. I couldn't believe she was finally going to write St. John's story. I read the author's foreword at the front and was almost afraid to read it since she had once doubted her ability to write this character's story. Needless to say I read it anyway. This book surpassed every possible expectation; it was amazing. I could not put it down but at the same time was hoping it would never end. The only bad part is that I'm sure that Josh's story and the end of the series are in the works.... but hopefully she will come up with something just as incredible to take the place of all these characters I've become so attached to. This book is on the same level as her finale to the Trinity West series, Clay Yeager's Redemption. I can't say enough about how well developed this story is or how much it adds to the Redstone series. This is one that I will reread for years to come. Fantastic!!!!

Title: Very strong penultimate book in Redstone series.
Review: This was an excellent entry is this series, and I feel it was better than the last one - though I understand why that one had to be a sort of ensemble wrap up. Davis was building toward a book about the mysterious, terse and enigmatic St John for several books. It can be hard for an author to fulfill the high expectations raised in the fans of a popular series when a major ongoing character finally gets his own book. (Mary Jo Putney, Jo Beverley, Nora Roberts, Suzanne Brockman, LKH and J.R. Ward have all encountered this problem.) Justine Davis succeeded in this book. This couple's HEA might actually work.

Title: Hard to Put Down
Review: This is the eleventh book in Justine's Redstone Incorporated series and the next to last one. I will be sorry to see them end. This is a hard to put down until you are finished book and while it may not have the same kind of suspense and mystery as the other books do it is still an excellent, gripping story. In fact you almost wonder if there will be an HEA but you know there will be.Dameron St. John left home as a teenager who had been abused by his father. He change his name and became a different person ~ or so he thought. What he hadn't really realized was that he still let his past affect him. He received a news alert on his computer about a man named Albert Alden was running for mayor of a little town of Cedar, Oregon. He tried to ignore the information but knew he had to take time off from Redstone and head back to his hometown. He had to face his past.Jessa Hart had lived in Cedar her whole life ~ except when she was in college ~ and was now running her father's business. Many in Cedar wanted her to run for mayor against Alden and because she knew what kind of man he was she was considering it. Jessa was the only person in Cedar who really knew that Adam was abused by his father and that now he was abusing his stepson the same way.

Review: Despite being a difficult subject at times to read through (child abuse and domestic violence), this book tells the story of a lovely couple finding love.
