Title: Great Investment
Review: This is a review for: "Delta Faucet Clarifi Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System, 6-Stage RO Water Filter, Tankless Water Filtration System, Undersink Water Filter, Reverse Osmosis Filter System, DWQ1001012"[ Note: ** Vine Voices provide unbiased, honest reviews of purportedly free products however, Vine Voices are required to report yearly total estimated tax values as additional income ** ]Currently I am posting this review to meet my review requirements as a placeholder until I can do a proper review for this item. I have been on a wait list for almost a month to get an electrician to come install an outlet underneath my sink as when I decided to make this investment I did not realize it required a plug to power it.We are the second owners of our home and there is already a cheap filter installed with a small pot or drinking water tap to the left of our main faucet. I plan to replace this tap with a more high flow fixture and use it with this unit. When studying this I thought it was a worthwhile investment to replace us buying 5-6 5-Gallon water jugs for our in-home water machine which we use for water bottles for the whole family and our Kool-Aid and tea and coffee water. The problem is at $8 a bottle we are spending roughly $40 a month on water. Over a years that totals $480 to $500, doubled that's around a $1k every 2 years. This device is less than that including the 2-year filters and at the end of the 2 years the replacement filters cost less than half the listed price, divided by 24 months that comes to $29 per month for the first two years and after the filters are replaced from that point forward the 2 year cost is roughly $342 which comes to $14.25 monthly. This is the cost if replacing the pre-filter, carbon filter, RO filter and adding the remineralization filter which is 52.50, if you plan to omit that it comes to $12.06 monthly! Assuming that the RO system unit lasts at least more than several years, it is worth the investment. Delta carries a lifetime warranty to the original owner in the first installed home for the life of the product excluding electronics and finishes. It is important to note that the RO process removes harmful contaminants and lowers the pH, the remineralization cartridge increases the pH during the process of adding minerals back which may enhance the taste to something you are more familiar with from other sources of water you may be used to.Once I have this installed I will update with photos and the taste compared to what I am currently using.

Title: Bulletproof quality...
Review: The Clarifi is Delta's first foray into the reverse osmosis (RO) water filter market. This system reflects Delta's deserved reputation for quality kitchen and bath accessories. Delta faucets are reliable and Delta's customer service is excellent. But RO is a new venture for Delta and there are already strong candidates for your RO budget, including Waterdrop, iSpring and NU Aqua. Why buy this from Delta? Well, with the purchase of the $45 remineralization filter that fits on the line from the tank to your RO faucet, you get a 600 gallons-per-day RO system with seven stages for $687, about $150 more than a basically identical Waterdrop system (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P1XFYJP).Note, however, that the Waterdrop system includes an LED-equipped faucet while the Clarifi system requires the purchase of a separate faucet. I got a Delta faucet for RO systems from Amazon. It sells for $125 and is, to my mind, significantly higher quality than the faucet included with the Waterdrop system--not as showy, but better made....Clarifi is more expensive than well-regarded RO systems of equal specifications. I got this system free from Amazon as an Amazon Vine reviewer (Vine reviewers get products free in return for their reviews). Would I pay the additional money for a Clarifi system over the Waterdrop? Probably. I get Delta or American Standard or Moen or hansgrohe every time when it comes to faucets. I trust these companies' build quality and their customer service/warranty systems over that of their rivals. I would probably do the same by choosing Clarifi over other manufacturers' RO systems even if it costs more. Certainly the quality of Delta's RO beverage faucets is a significant cut above the quality of included faucets in other systems.Delta says the filters in its system last up to two years. We'll see... Replacement filters are $60 for the pre-filter (which should last six years according to Delta), $161 for the main RO cartridge, $50 for the carbon cartridge and $45 for the optional remineralization cartridge.Note that as with most RO under-sink systems, you will need to be able to plug this sytem into power. The two main filters (RO and carbon) are easily replaceable from the front. The main reason to get this system is that it's made by Delta. If you don't care about getting a system from a manufacturer with a sterling reputation for qualtiy, many less-expensive alternatives exist. I trust Delta plumbing products and I'm happy to have this system for that reason in addition to the system's good design and competent operation.

Title: Fantastic purchase from a fantastic brand - but does not come with a faucet
Review: I am so happy with my new RO system. Thanks to excellent instructions, I was able to install this myself, so if you're even slightly handy, know that this comes with almost all the parts necessary to connect this to your kitchen cold water supply valve, add a drain hole to your existing plumbing under the sink. It is well built and heavy like a tank, even before the filters are saturated with water. The water tastes amazing and the operational noise when running water is very much minimal (not silent). That is normal. The downsides: It doesn't come with an RO faucet - which is strange because for this much money, Delta could easily have included one in the kit. THe other weirdness is that if your faucet doesn't come with attached hoses, the few that were provided with the kit aren't sufficient - I had to go out and buy 3/8" water supply hose and of course now I have 23 feet of that left over. The kit needs another one of those. The last inconvenience is that the scheduled flushing happens at random times - it would've been great if it happened late at night, but there's no such intelligence built into the RO system.
