Title: works incredibly well, good value, excellent customer service, TASTE UNBEATABLE
Review: I purchased this system in February 2018, I wanted to wait a while to see how it performed before writing a review. I have a background in water quality and am a bit of a water snob so I had very high expectations for quality and the water it produced.Installation was great, they include everything you need to install it on existing equipment. It attached to the cold water angle stop for your sink, they have a nice brass t fitting that will adapt to whatever you have under your sink either 3/8 or 1/2. it included an isolation valve so you can easily turn off your filter system for maintenance and carriage replacement. As a plumber I was very pleased with install. I am very picky in the way I put things together and it still only took me about an hour or so. I bet you could do the job in 30 minutes if you were in a hurry.Parameters: my tap water has any where from 250-400 ppm total dissolved solids (TDS). That's pretty standard for municipal water in southern California. still that is allot of stuff dissolved in the water including lead, arsenic, chloramine, and trace chemicals. Ph from tap is about 7.8. Coming out of the RO membrane before it hits the Alkaline cartridge I got a TDS of about 9-14 ppm. That is pretty incredible. the finished Alkalinity from this system was 8.8! perfect alkaline water. the mineral content was a great also, about 40-60mg/L of Carbonate hardness and 60mg/L general hardness. That means the perfectly minneraled and alkalized water free from chemicals, heavy metals or any harmful contaminates.The flavor as you can imagine is incredible. I use it to brew beer with, my friends cant believe the quality of my brew, the secret is the water. I use it to brew kombucha with similar results. I use it to fill my fish tanks, the African Cichlids need the high Ph.Finally the customer service for iSpring is impeccable. I bought a cartridge replacement and has some issues, customer service was quick to handle my issue and did not cost me a dime to make it right.these are the genuine replacment filters and they make the system work as it did the day I installed it

Review: Works great. I had a five stage reverse osmosis system for years but the taste was a bit harsh. Recently added this filter to my existing system and love it. Water tastes much softer now.

Title: Great water and great service
Review: Over the years we've purchased 5 of the iSpring water filters. Each one performed flawlessly. Never had a leak or a problem. Recently we purchased this filter replacement set and had a slight problem with it. I called iSpring and spoke to Nick who was very helpful and took care of the issue hassle free. Based on my experience, iSpring, is a great source for home water filters.

Title: FA15 Alkaline Water Filter Cartridge - I like it
Review: I do like the FA15 Alkaline Water Filter Cartridge for the improvement in the taste it makes with my 5 stage APEC RO unit. My initial TDS was about 20 and was about 40 ppm after installation. My raw tap water is about 300-500 ppm TDS. To me, the RO water always tasted a little flat, I usually added a little tap water or baking soda into my glass to make it taste better. Now I find that the RO + Alkaline filter water tastes pretty darned good and the TDS is in a good range for drinking water. The price seems a little high, but compared to the cost of bottled water and the added waste/taste of plastic bottles, it is well worth it to me. Be aware that the faucet output water flow will be slightly reduced. If you enjoy good tasting water, I do recommend this filter.Edit added: Some people recommend installing a filter like this, before the storage tank. I installed mine after the tank, before the final polishing filter to faucet. If you install this after the polishing filter, before the faucet you 'may' get a slight metallic taste.

Review: I bought this carbon filter which came with a L shape connector and a T shape connector. When I was trying to replace the carbon filter in my RO system, I realized my RO system installer connected the filters in a way that needed two L shape connectors. So I contacted iSpring company. They responded to my request promptly and offered extra L shape connector. I've received the replacement connectors and replaced the old carbon filter. Everything works fine now. Thank you for the great customer support!

Review: Good products, got a TDS of 7-12 ppm compared to the source city water of about 150+ ppmThe RO water taste was great tooOnly thing is the alkaline cartridge produces calcium ions and a pH of about 10.According to my Naturopath this is not recommended at meal times as works against stomach acid to digest your meals. The other is adding this type of calcium may be a concern for deposits at joints. We subsequently removed that filter. Other natural calcium forms are recommended instead.The naturopath suggested that K, Mg minerals and micronutrients were best and be added as a supplement to the RO water.
