Title: Only works on doors with a gap between the cloor and the door sill.
Review: The good news is, the steel is strong. The bad news is, the steel is too thick for my door.The elbow that goes around the door is steel, but the rest of the mount is plastic. It appears to be fairly well made and easy to install, but when I tested the steel bracket, the door would not close.You need a gap of about 3/16 inch to use this mount.

Title: Nice grip surprisingly
Review: I was a little nervous cause I didnât see a locking screw for the securing the device inside. But itâs so tight to the door I canât get a finger or nail in to pop the cover off. That being said if someone really wanted to mess with it and figure out a tool to slip between the door and cover they could pop it off and take the Ring. Am I worried about that happening not really. I actually think it makes it way easier to change out the batteries. Very easy to use and install.
