Indents on the bottom help release and drain grease and fats into pan. Won’t warp, rust or retain odors. Safe for stainless steel, nonstick, glass and enameled pans. Nonstick for easy release and quick clean up. Fits a variety of roasting pan sizes and shapes. Use on baking sheets with bacon. Title: Easy to use and durable
Review: This works great in my 8 qt slow cooker and my romertopf clay cooker. I use it to lift up meat from the bottom while cooking. Easy to clean, goes in the dishwasher.

Title: Works well. No issues.
Review: After reading the other reviews on this product, we made sure to bake it by itself before using it for food. While heating, we didn't notice any off smell at all coming from the oven or while removing from the oven. We've been using this for baking 3-4 lbs pork shoulders and it works well. The meat doesn't stick to it, so removing the roast from the pan is very easy. We've run into no issues using this. Pay attention to the dimensions. You aren't going to use this for a large roast or a turkey. Although taking 2 of these and placing them at an angle would support large cuts just fine. One recommendation is to wash it right away after use. We waited until the next day once and the drippings were harder to clean off after they had dried completely.Very happy with this and well worth the price.

Title: Works Well, Is Sturdy, Out-Gasses At First & Holds Odors
Review: The trivet is as sturdy as can be. It should last for many years. Cleaning isn't hard, stuff falls off- Except for odors. They linger in the rubber (silicone or fake silicone?) One must leave this out for a few days after washing so the odors dissipate. Sunlight helps. Pan B: Put it in a covered tray with baking soda.I use it in the slow cooker for a garlic chicken & tomato sauce creation. The garlic & tomato odors left iwth washing, but the chicken smell remained. Next I tried pork. Smell stayed for a few days. So be sure not to put it in the slow cooker & leave the lid on for storage.CAUTION! Before first use, after washing, heat this in the oven or crock pot or something for an hour or more. If not, the odor of rubber will permeate the food. After the first heat-and-wait, it won't out-gas any more.Despite the cleanliness glitches, it's nice to have!

Title: Good replacement for the old rusty metal one
Review: We have a slow cooker and over the years the metal rack started shedding it's chrome. This rack was not quite as big, but still keeps the meat off the bottom. Easier cleanup also.

Title: Works with my electric Oster Roasting Pan
Review: I originally bought one of these to fit inside a slow cooker. Fast forward to the few times a year I use my electric Oster Roaster. The original grate that came with it was too flimsy for my liking to begin with, and after a couple years, the "chrome" started flaking off. So, I placed this inside my roasting pan and saw that two of them would make a great rack that would never flake off, etc. Problem solved. I just use 2 of these in the bottom of my roaster and it works great. I do wish Oster would offer a custom sized silicone trivet/rack to fit in their roasters.

Title: Get it out of the fat!
Review: This worked great in my "Hamilton Beach Stay or Go 5 Quart Slow Cooker 33254H". Fits perfectly in the bottom. I boiled mine in water before using it, due to smell and suggestions from other reviewers. It keeps the food from soaking in its greasy fat. It's about 1 inch thick and that may not be enough to keep bottom foods out of the fat, but still good. I gave it a quick manual cleaning then stuck it in the dishwasher.Very satisfied!Blessings,John 20:29
