'50s-spec Roasted Maple Tele Neck The Fender Roasted Maple Vintera Mod '50s Telecaster Neck may just be the upgrade your Tele is clamoring for. Roasted until it reaches optimal dryness and beauty, this maple neck is more resistant to humidity shifts and temperature changes than non-roasted necks. The '50s-era Soft "V" profile gives this neck a handfeel that's straight out of the old school, with plenty of wood in the palm and yet clearance enough for thumb-over players. Together with its 9.5" fretboard radius and 21 medium-jumbo frets, the Fender Roasted Maple Vintera Mod '50s Telecaster Neck has something for all eras of Fender fans. Note: Every neck and guitar is different, and a final setup, including filing the nut slots and a final fret leveling, may be required after installation on your guitar. Call your GearNuts Sales Engineer with any questions you have about upgrading or replacing the neck

Title: roasted maple neck feels like silk!
Review: pros: the roasted maple finish has gorgeous tint.... nice soft v profile feels like silk... decent fret work, nothing major that can't be addressed with a bit of filing.cons: the vintage nut adjustment for this neck was in the heel, however the neck pictured as ordered has the adjustment on the headstock. annoying pia.

Title: Overpriced Made in Mexico Junk
Review: Quality is pure crap for $400. Lacquer was cracked and flaked along every fret like they had the frets taped off when they sprayed it, then waited until it dried before they pulled the tape off. The walnut skunk stripe was cut short on both ends and not sanded flush with the back of the neck. I'll buy an XGP neck for $70 and get the same quality. It's a real shame because a few years back, Mexican made Fender and Charvel parts were top quality.
