This Inflatable Turkey looks so delicious you can almost smell the stuffing. But keep the carving knives away, because this bird is strictly for show. Each 16" (40.6 cm) long, vinyl turkey is perfect for staging your Thanksgiving table while the real turkey is roasting, or batting around on a sunny day at the beach. Comes deflated in a 4-1/4" x 2-3/4" x 2-7/8" (10.8 cm x 7 cm x 7.3 cm) illustrated tin.

Title: Life-sized and realistic!
Review: I brought this to my parents' Thanksgiving dinner as a whimsical hostess gift. My mom doesn't buy a whole bird--she just roasts a big turkey breast and serves it sliced. So, I thought it would be funny as a centerpiece for a faux Norman Rockwellian "Freedom from Want" look.I was fully expecting the inflated turkey to be undersized, oddly shaped, and orange. And I was fine with that. But when I blew it up, we were all amazed that it's huge and gorgeous! I displayed it on a pretty platter and everyone thought it was wonderful and hilarious. A new family tradition is born.Next year, I think I'll pick up a big bunch of parsley to arrange around the base. I'll add white paper frills to the drumsticks, too. This would be a fun gift for young people striking out on their own, or to send as a greeting to far-flung loved ones who you'll miss seeing at the dinner table. Why not grab a Sharpie and have everyone write what they're thankful for directly onto the turkey, or just have everyone sign and date it as a 3D guestbook?I also recommend this as a handy prop for anyone struggling to create a proper-looking Thanksgiving in a foreign country. And if you're planning holiday air travel, tuck one into your carry on, just in case you find yourself trapped in an airport, trying to cater Thanksgiving from Sbarro and Hudson News.

Title: Tons o’ fun!
Review: I’ve been hanging this on my front door since 2019. It’s funny and clever but not stupid. My neighbors have come to expect it. We’ve had a lot of laughs! Also, it’s well-made and has lasted all these years and seems like it’s gonna last several more. Don’t hesitate, buy one!

Title: Better at a distance, ultimately a complete waste of $
Review: I was impressed with the reviews for this turkey, so bought one for the sheer fun of having a blow-up turkey. The packaging is, as has been noted often, very cute and clever. The turkey itself comes folded in a layer of tissue paper. After unfolding it, I inflated it by mouth. It has a little port at the "neck end." I found it mighty hard to inflate. I believe it's a one-way air valve, so you really have to work to push air into this bird. I tried various manipulations of the valve to see if I could make it easier. None really worked.Once inflated, I thought, hmmm, this would be great as a prop for a stage production. But close up? It doesn't look like a real turkey. For one thing, the valve does not fold back into the turkey (like the valve often used for beach balls do), so as you can see in the photo, it is quite obvious. There are seams along the legs and wings, which mostly disappear from a good distance. It's also lighter in color and shinier than I expected (or than a genuine roasted turkey). It looks to me more like a seasoned, uncooked bird than a roasted turkey. In fact, it's so shiny that if one did think it was a real turkey, they'd probably think it was sealed in a vacuum-pack plastic wrapper. It's definitely cute, and could make a fun centerpiece. Definitely good for a stage prop. But it won't fool anyone with decent eyesight into thinking there is a roasted turkey sitting on the kitchen counter. MAYBE your aged grandmother - if she isn't wearing her glasses. (-"I guess I was just expecting a bit more realism from some of the reviews. But then, I still find myself intrigued by X-Ray glasses, living sea monkeys, and miniature spy cameras of the type that might be found on the back of old comic books.Hope springs eternal for the kids within us.UPDATE: Today, I decided to add a little air to the turkey, because it was looking sort of sad, with a deflated ego after sitting about 3-4 weeks on top of the refrigerator wrinkling and puckered in. As soon as I started to inflate it, I heard the faintest little popping sound, and it was all over. The seam along the edge of base of the wing just popped open. This isn't from overinflation, because it was still all puckered and wrinkled. Just a weak, defective seam. I posted a photo of the popped seam as a customer photo. I pressed it open to make it more visible, but this is the actual size of the breach. About an inch and a half long right on the seam.I revised my overall rating down to one. A cute idea, but not well constructed enough to have any practical (or even fun, if impractical) purpose. Never abused or played with. Just sat atop the refrigerator. (sigh)Could it be that the can is really the product, and the vinyl turkey is just a fun filler? Guess the joke is on us!
