Plug & Go: OWLTRA Ultrasonic Rodent Repellers 4 pack is a poison-free solution to your pest problem. Each plug-in repeller emits a high-frequency sound that provides enough coverage to any medium-sized room in your home. While 100% silent to humans and non-rodent pets, the ultrasonic sound will put rodents in distress, causing them to leave your home within two weeks of use. Simply plug the Ultrasonic Rodent Repellers into a wall outlet, and you're set!
How It Works: When plugged in, the device will emit high-frequency sound that repels rodents while completely inaudible to humans. Studies have shown that ultrasonic sound waves attack these pests' nervous and auditory systems, causing them to flee.
Safe for Children & Pets: Non-toxic and poison-free design makes it safe to use around children and pets.
Night Light for Soft Illumination: Each repellers comes with a built-in night light that provides a soft glow and lets you know when it's working.
For Best Results: Place one Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller in each room where there is rodent activity. For best results, plug the repeller away from solid objects and hard surfaces, as high-frequency sound can not penetrate walls and solid objects. To repel larger populations of rodents, use the device in conjunction with traps and baits. Each set you purchase consists of 4 repellers.

Title: Finally, a better mouse trap
Review: I have been dealing with a mice investation since July. I have an issue with dealing with mice due to past trauma. I tried several traps that I was so pleased could dump the entire trap. However it didn't take long and the mice were trap smart and I was dealing with even more sign. I decided I would try these electronic traps, knowing I would need to "suck it up" and get something I could reuse and limit my exposure. I made a great choice. I bought two different brands of electronic traps. The first day I set them up I began catching mice. They do what they claim. The ouse goes in, is killed with an electric shock and I know by the flashing green light I need to dump. It took me a while to get the hang of dumping without seeing the mouse but that's just me. If you have no PTSD issues you'll have no problem dumping them. I prefer an opening on the end as I can place them closer to the wall and places I know they are entering or hiding. I have found thsese work great by doors such as where the mice wered hiding in the water heater closet. I placed two traps along the base of the door reversing them so the opening was each direction and cuaght mice coming and going. The fact they are battery operated is perfect because it provides more options for their location independent of a electrical plug. I would highly recommend these for anyone dealing with mice. Easy to bait, easy to set, place and just slide the button to on, and easy to dump. They're reusable, safe for my furbaby and effecient. I'm also proud to say, that with the successful trappings these provided, I'm managing my PTSD so much better than any trap could, especially sticky traps and the standard traps.

Title: Best rat/mouse trap, ever! Worth every penny!
Review: Previously, I was only accustomed to the traditional rat/mouse traps. The ones you have to be careful not to smash your fingers in! Our pest control guy uses the traditional traps and the bait boxes with the sticky pads. Not having dealt with a lot of rats, at least ones in the main living areas of my home, I wasn't certain about the best way to "erraticate" the pesky rodent(s). Sure, there are your typical rats/mice in the garage and crawspace, etc. Our pest guy typically addressed those "ratskills". Those traps are ok in those areas. Out of sight, out of mind, right? But, we had one enter our domain, and that was not cool at all! I wondered...what's the best solution? An electonic mouse trap? I must admit that I was a little skeptical when I purchased this, considering the price. Would it be just a gimmick? I questioned whether it was cheaply built, and whether or not it would really work. However, when it arrived, I found that it was constructed way better than I had expected. I was actually impressed! But, I still wondered if it would work. Well, that question was answered literally overnight! After setting it up the afternoon it arrived, the very next morning, the result was in! Sorry, Mr Rat! The governor granted no clemency for you!About the product: It is very simple to use. It takes 4 D-cell batteries, or you can use the included USB-C power cable (wall wart not included, but, hey, just use one of your extra USB-A phone plug you have laying around like I did). I used a small dab of peanut butter in the bait tray. Put the lid on. Power it on and set it against the wall in the area where you saw the little critter, or evidence of their activity. It has a light that flashes and a buzzer that beeps when one has been caught. When that happens, they are done! To empty it, you just turn the power switch to off. Open the top (the top comes off easily - not in a bad way, easily) and dump out the critter in the waste bin, or, you can have a proper burial if you should so desire! You do you! It's really that simple! In summary, it's a very effective product. Easy to use. We'll built. Great features for what it is. Much nicer than the Victor product I purchased at my local big box store, and it was less expensive. I believe it's a great investment and I will probably buy more of these to monitor other areas of my home. I highly recommend this product to others! Now, let's see if he has any relatives!Hope this was helpful. Have a blessed rest of your day!

Title: Expensive but more humane and worth it
Review: (This review is for the mouse version not the larger rodent or rat versions.)You can buy a bunch of cheap snap traps for the price of just one of these electronic traps. I bought those cheap ones first but there were so many drawbacks to them I switched to these and I'm happy I did.The first reason I didn't like the snap traps is that when they work you've got a (hopefully) dead mouse in plain view. I don't like walking into my kitchen and seeing a mouse carcass. With these traps everything is covered and out of sight until you're ready to deal with it. Yes the dead mouse is still there with these but I don't have to look at it until I'm ready.Another reason I don't like the cheap snap traps is that you have to arrange barriers so that the mouse can get to them but pets can't. I have two cats and quickly found out the barriers need to be pretty big and heavy to keep the cats away from the trap and the caught mouse. Kind of a hassle when I needed to place the traps around my kitchen. ButBut the biggest reason I switched from the cheap traps is that they don't always kill the mouse. Unfortunately, they sometimes just crush part of the mouse without killing it leaving it alive but suffering in pain in the trap until you notice it (which could be hours if you're away or asleep). I don't want mice in my house or garage but I also don't want fellow mammals to suffer needlessly. These traps worked great for me and eliminated the mice that had infiltrated my house within 3 days. They are easy to empty—just lift off the lid and dump into a trash can. You don't need to touch the carcass, pry it out of the trap or even look at it. Quick and convenient and the trap is ready to go for the next mouse as soon as you put the lid back on and flip the switch.I happened to be nearby when one of the traps caught a mouse. The trap emits a low whine or buzzing sound when it's activated. It's pretty quiet but I was able to notice it in a silent room. It stays activated for a while (I'd guess about a minute) to make sure the job is done. When it stops making noise after a short wait the light starts to flash to let you know it's caught a mouse. A previous reviewer mentioned a smell but fortunately there was no smell at all that I could detect.I had no issues with non-kills; when the light was flashing on my traps there was always a dead mouse inside. I'd guess an issue some other reviewer may have had is if the contacts that connect the top to the bottom get dirty or corroded. The trap likely won't work properly if it can't make a solid electrical connection.I have two cats and I wanted to make sure these traps would be safe around them. Fortunately, the way these traps are designed with the location of the opening and the internal barriers there is absolutely no way even the most inquisitive cat is going to be able to get a paw in there let alone have two different paws touch the two metal plates. (Without going into the details on how this type of trap works a mouse would need to contact one of the metal plates with a front foot and the other with a back foot in order to be dispatched.) There is no way even a small cat or dog could do that and the voltage and current likely wouldn't be enough even if they could. You don't need to worry about your cats with this trap. Obviously, though, if you have rodent-sized pets such as hamsters you'll want to make sure they can't get near these. One thing I would change about this trap is to make the bait cup removable for easier cleaning and changing of the bait. What I did is put my bait peanut butter on a small scrap of paper and then put that down in the bait cup so that the peanut butter didn't stick to the trap itself. Another thing I would change is to have the trap self-test the connection to the bottom part when turned on. It should flash or something to let you know if the contacts are not making an adequate connection.I'm very happy with these traps and definitely recommend them despite the high price.

Review: My house has suddenly been invaded by rats, and I've tried everything to get rid of them, without any success. While I hate the thought of killing any animals, I had to do something drastic because they've been chewing through plumbing and wires and my cupboard doors. I set this trap up and caught a rat the very first night I used it, so it's definitely working well for me! It's just too bad that it only catches one at a time -- but it's a good start!
