Title: Fit For Purpose
Review: I have 4 of these and am pleased with their quality. They are not super-safes but as I said in the title, are fit for purpose. For me that purpose is ammunition storage. Once full, they are so heavy I don’t worry about someone walking out with them. I have them stacked 2X2. If I needed a safe for expensive items like jewelry or even cash, I’d probably step up a few levels to something more secure. Recently the batteries ran down on one of them and I used the key to open and replace them. It was very easy (once I figured out which key it was) and works as it is supposed to. Wait until they’re on sale though. No complaints.

Title: Simple, keep items secure
Review: It took 15 minutes to move into where i wanted the safe, put the shelf in, i had all my items i wished to store in the safe.Used the keys supplied to unlock the safe, added the batteries to the inside cover. than set up a primary code you can use 4 to 7 digits, after that it asked to set up the secondary code. Great for storing certain coins i collect, valuables, papers, like a Will title to the car, etc.Keep in mind i knew this safe was not really fireproof, but i purchased a fireproof bag to store the documents in and cash on hand.

Title: Good Quality Great price
Review: Nice quality safe like the backup key in case the digital lock gets messed up or battery goes dead The shelf is a nice touch. The price point is really good. Just don't misplace the keys. They are the laser cut style keys and around my area are hard to duplicate.

Title: Perfect for keeping kids out!
Review: I bought this safe 4.5 years ago and just now changed the batteries for the first time! That is with me getting into it 2 - 4 times a day, everyday! Figured it earned itself a 5 Star review!I bought this to keep some handguns and other "non kid friendly" items safe. This safe is perfect for that! I didn't want an airtight firesafe that you have to worry about contents molding when they are in a firesafe that doesn't let air and moisture out. This safe won't stop the "Lockpicking Lawyer," someone with an angle grinder, or someone that just picks the thing up and walks out with it! However, I wasn't interested in paying a premium for Fort Knox, nor do I need something to withstand a house fire.I get in it multiple times a day to retrieve my handgun whenever I leave the house. I was worried the batteries would die quickly with that process, but as mentioned, I just changed them for the first time, 4.5 years later.I am very pleased with the simple keypad (with a key for backup). Wanted something my wife could get in if need be.

Review: This product is great for its price point. If you are like me and are looking for an easy to use safe to store your valuables without taking to much space this is the one. Feels solid and easy to use. The inside is very spacious I can fit my MacBook Pro directly in it. All and all great product.

Review: Needed to buy a cabinet safe and looked on Amazon. I found this Amazon Basics steel safe and at £100 thought it looked like a great entry level safe. Took the risk of purchasing and since it arrived I have not had any issues. Everything was in the box, nothing missing, no damage to safe either.The electronic keypanel for setting up a code (3 to 8 digits) was extremely easy to follow. Also the two safe keys supplied worked fine. They are initially a little tight to push in but if you're gentle enough shouldn't have any problems gaining access to the safe if the batteries for the electronic side are exhausted.The only downside I found is that the electronics of the keypanel entry does protrude into the safe space which means you can't place items too far forward towards the safe door as the keypanel housing pushes on to your stored items. However I can live with that.For the price it is value for money and a wonderful entry level safe.Of course burglars could steal it if not secured to wall or floor, they could carry it away, even though it is heavy.For me just nice to have that extra layer of security on items that need protecting.
