Title: one of my favorite cookbooks right now
Review: As a noom participant I was looking for some better recipes that will help with my change over to a healthier eating. I love salads but get bored very easily if there is too much repetition. Anyways, this book came highly recommended and the recipes within were realistic and not too far out there. I have made many recipes in the book already and my wife is thrilled with them as am I. The pear, fennel and steak with an apple cider-sage vinaigrette is to die for. The book does reference back to earlier recipes regarding dressings, but the lovely thing is the recipes are a base and the most have variations (which are what these later recipes are referring back to). I bought no less than 11 cookbooks during prime day and this one topped them all. Cannot stress how fun and fresh this book is for the average home cook. Easy to follow recipes, realistic ingredients that are easy to find and last but not least, trust the process, you won't be disappointed.

Title: America's Test Kitchen is always a win for my tummy.
Review: If you're looking to someone to give you basic, everyday bordom in salad form this book probably isnt for you. It is a book, like any other ATK books, is full of colorful, complex, well-refined recipes. It might be daunting at first to dive in, but you wont be disappointed once you have taken the journey. ATK takes the guess work out by doing what their namesake is, testing. Every recipe contains tidbits of knowledge about how they arrived where they did. How their flavors interact, or at least notes that chronicle what did and didn't work for them.To be honest though, you will find a few simple recipes, their peach Caprese salad only calls for seven ingredients, two of those are salt and pepper. The only reason I gave this four stars is a few pages had print issues, one of which obscures a measurement on a recipe.

Title: A wonderful not just salads book
Review: This is after our local library had a cookbook club, and this book was included.. after tapping a whole bunch of pages of the book that I borrowed from the library, I figured to look up the price online and go figure it became a buy one get one deal I’m about two.And many great recipes in this great coffee table book that not several people have picked up when they came over and leafed through it.

Title: Uncommon ingredients makes me sad
Review: Harissa, bitter greens, purslane, pea shoots, lentils du puy, pickled fennel, mandatory toasted rice powder, etc. lots of uncommon ingredients. It’s not an accessible cookbook for those limited to Walmart grocery. It also calls for lots of fresh herbs so recommend growing them because buying in this quantity is cost prohibitive.

Title: America’s Test Kitchen Salad Cookbook
Review: If you liked the television series then I think you’ll enjoy the recipes and the format they’re presented in, folksy and scientific….always seeking to supply the home cook with the ability to build flavor and create inspiring meals, in this case healthy salads and “bowls”. Using fresh ingredients and a worldwide view of the veggies, fruits, grains and dressing recipes compiled in the book. It’s a large paperback with usual mouthwatering photos so you’ll need a book rest to use it. We eat salad every night in our home and are always looking for ways to mix it up as salads can become rather staid and predictable in one’s meal rotation. We found some fresh inspiration within the book and have the desire to try things new outside the box.

Review: I truly believe in having a clear vision of the appearance of a salad and its presentation. This book has the most amazing photography to illustrate this and such varied, well laid out sections. This is so much more than a book of recipes …. it’s a real reference book … a real keeper .
