Title: no actual salad recipes though
Review: I gave this 5 stars because the dressings are absolutely delicious and well worth buying the book, but I so very much wish she would have included ingredients for the actual salad pictured with the dressing recipe. The book is gorgeous, color pictures for every recipe, but no salad ingredients so I have to try and figure out from the picture and guess. Book would be 10 star with the salad recipes, but as it was only written for the dressings I can't fault the author and still love the book.

Title: Great Salad Dressing Cookbook
Review: The dressings in this book are delicious, and the ratios are spot on. I haven't tried them all, but I already have favorites I've used many times. As some reviewers have mentioned, a few of the background pages are black and that wasn't such a great idea. Those pages are still legible, just more difficult to read. However, I didn't deduct any stars for this, as the book itself is beautiful. It's my favorite for dressings.

Review: Order this - you won't be disappointed. I've made a bunch of the dressings and they are all delicious. I have 'finessed' some of them (I prefer a higher ratio of vinegar to oil) but the base recipe is ALWAYS good. You definitely can't go wrong with this book. Gives lots of ideas and combinations. I'm really glad to add it to my cookbook collection.
