Title: No More Compromises!
Review: OK, I'm a cheap SOB. I admit that. I experimented with a couple low price tablets (<= $100) and was disappointed each time. So I finally decided to stop dorking around and got a real, no kidding, Samsung Tablet and I am kicking myself for not doing that sooner.I tried an RCA Tablet from Walmart. It seemed like a good value and had a detachable keyboard. But it was horribly slow and clunky, so I offloaded that quickly.Next I tried the Amazon Fire 10. I am not here to bad mouth the Fire Tablet. If you are happy with the Fire operating system and the Amazon environment, it's a decent piece of hardware at a low price. It has a good display and it streams video and performs other entertainment tasks nicely. The battery life was not great but that was not a deal killer. However, what I really wanted was an Android device and while Fire is based on the Android operating system, it remains at its core a proprietary Amazon product. Of course, you can go on-line and figure out how to download and install the Google Play Store. I went a step further and installed a couple more apps to give me an Android-like home screen. With a bit more effort, I even made the Fire accept Android Widgets. So I finally got the Fire Tablet so that it kind of had an Android look and feel but at the end of the day, it still didn't do everything I wanted it to do. The big problem was compatibility with apps from the Google Play Store. Not everything I had on my Galaxy phone would work on the Fire. My frustration reached the tipping point when I found that the undated version of the American Airlines app was no longer compatible with my Fire. Since I travel frequently, that was a problem. Those experiences taught me the hard way that if you want an Android device that performs well with wide app compatibility, you can't do that on the cheap. Given that my goal was to have a tablet that was essentially a bigger version of my Samsung Galaxy phone, it finally dawned on my that I'd better get a real, no kidding Samsung Tablet. Duh!The Tab A became the answer. I use laptops or my desktop for heavy use. I use my tablet on travel (invaluable if you fly American Airlines since they expect you to stream entertainment on your own device). I also use it in the living room for a quick web search. So I did not need all the bells and whistles of the higher end Samsung tablets. Looking at the specs and the reviews, I became convinced the Tab A would meet my needs. That has certainly been the case. The Tab A has allowed me to set it up with most of the same apps I have on my Galaxy phone. The display is fantastic and the battery life has been a huge improvement over the fire. I can keep several apps open without performance problems. So for my needs, it is nearly perfect. I waited a few weeks before posting a review but my Tab A remains a pleasure every time I pick it up.It is not the cheapest tablet out there but in the low $200's, it gives you plenty of bang for the buck. I just feel dumb I did not heed the old expression, "You get what you pay for." It really is true. Reviewer: R. Purdy

Title: The perfect tablet for work and play!
Review: So this is my 1st tablet so I was alittle leery and I did alot of reading of reviews before I ultimately made my decision. I decided to go with what I felt was the best and I believe I made the absolute right choice. I love this tablet, its the perfect size, not too bulky, not too heavy, awesome screen size!! Excellent performance, long battery life. I did go with the smaller gig size but I had a new 128gig micro chip for a new device already to go but even at the base 32 here I have games and 100's and 100's of photos and even before putting in my extra storage chip I had plenty of room. I did purchase this device to basically try and replace my laptop and it looks like that will be happening bc its working out just fine. Again with the addition I have plenty of storage so I'm able to do my work, I do some freelance writing and artistic designs so something this size is very easy to always have with me should inspiration strike. I'm also able to play alittle while trying to work so again I do have quite a few games on there but also all my book files, blogs, plus any and all of my kindle library to read when I'm not writing my own or just goofing off, searching the web, etc... Plus all my photos are on their now, also making it easy to add to my documents, books, articles, blogs, flyers and brochures. The screen and image quality are excellent and its just the right size with all the right features for all of my work and play needs. I would definitely recommend if you're in the market for a new tablet and you're able this is the tablet to get. Being new it is obviously alittle more pricey but its worth it for me and if you require some of the same qualities that I did you will not be disappointed with this purchase, I know I'm not, I'm very happy with it and so glad I got it!

Title: Good Entry Level Tablet
Review: Well it's a great entry level tablet, main advantage to other tablets is its price. Here is my review after 4 months of use.RAM: tablet has a rather slow performance with the 2GB RAM. It's really noticeable specially when you unlock the tablet.Storage: mine got 32 GB which is not so good but can easily upgrade.Camera:it has the 5 MP on front and 8 MP on rear. Have taken some great pictures with it. As for the video, I use this tablet mainly for video calls, and there is no noticeable lag, much better than my laptop.Battery: the 6150 mAh lasts much much longer than you think. If I use it for heavily gaming it would last like a day, otherwise, I don't even remember when was the last time I charged it, probably once a week.Charger: regular usb c, no fast charger, no complaints as the battery lasts really long.Screen: 10.1 inch seems like the perfect size, vivid colors make watching movies rather nice. The touch does not feel that great, you gonna hurt your finger tips if you use it for gaming too much.Speakers: the two speakers on the bottom sound good, however if it had at least one speaker on top, it would have made watching movies much better.I don't really like the position of the power and volume button, seems to be too close to each other, many times I press the wrong one. No face ID nor a finger tip scanner. Finally, I really liked the tablet when I bought it, but since then I upgraded my phone and I'm not quite sure whether I would have bought this tablet comparing the features with my note 10 phone. Maybe I should have gone for the nicer S6. I don't know, probably wouldn't as the S6 has same price as a 13 inch core i5 laptop with 500 GB SSD.

Title: Internet connection sometimes turns off.
Review: I like the fact that it goes so long before you have to charge it. I like it's features. I like that it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Review: This tablet is amazing. Exactly what I was in the market for. If you're just looking for a tablet to watch movies and surf the net, this is a great budget friendly option. Only thing I wish was better was the speakers, pretty low quailty and only on the one side. If you're always wearing headphones or plugged in to a speaker, its none issue. Great little tablet.

Review: The screen & sound is great. I found it not very responsive once you start to multitask like switching between apps.

Review: Seller: please jump to bottom and address my only concern with my order. The 10.1" Galaxy tab A is a wonderful tablet. I am very happy with my purchase for a number of reasons. I mostly use it for reading books, browsing the web, social media, and some light time wasting games. The battery life on this tablet is very impressive. Was able to do about 12 hours of screen time on before needing to charge. The operating system updated to Android 10 the day I turned it on which was nice. There are plenty of different cases on Amazon that fit this model due to It's popularity. This is great for those that are looking for a certain style or color of case.Has the option to expand the memory with a micro SD cardOne of my favorite things about this tablet, and to be honest was the reason I went with this one over the 8" model, is the fact that it uses a USB-C port. That allows me to use the same cord for charging this tablet as I would my phone or Xbox elite controller (series 2). Makes my life much simpler. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is a nice touch. You can use the USB-C port though if you have USB-C headphones. You can't use both at the same time unfortunately. The only reason I did not give this tablet a 5 star rating is the charger. I live in Canada, ordered this off if Amazon.ca, the tablet shipped from Canada, but it came with a European style charger in the box. They did include a North American standard charging brick, however when I tried to charge the tablet with the cord from the box and that charger, it did not work. I tried a different cord, and it did not work. I tried both cords with a different usb brick and it worked fine. So I didn't get a charger that would work. That is on the seller and I would love if they could make that right by sending me a new fast charger for my tablet.
