Title: Best all around educational book for young children
Review: I have been using this book for over 35 years starting with my young children then as gifts to many of my family and friend's young children. As a former school teacher I praise the benefit of reading and teaching young children as soon as they are able to sit up and focus which is around 5 or 6 months. This wonderful book by Richard Scarry is chock full of learning on the very basics little ones need to know and help them prepare for preschool. The colorful illustrations and characters are delightful and fun for parent and child. "Best Storybook" is an all around best learning tool, can't recommend it enough. In fact there are several wonderful Richard Scarry books that should be in your young child's library. Now almost 40 years later my children and I laugh about some of his characters and the pleasure we got from his books. In fact I still have those original copies. It's a great present for that new baby, it will be only a matter of a few months that he/she will enjoy it sitting along the parent. Happy reading and learning.

Review: How can you go wrong with the classic Richard Scarry stories with morals, colored pictures all wrapped up in a bundle of fun?!! A great Christmas gift for our 3 year old. Buy it and share with your children! There is so much garbage at their little fingertips nowadays, so its resfreshing to find the old classics even if the world is changing.
