Are Foton pearled candles scented?

Our white pearls come in a variety of scents, our colored versions are unscented but fully customizable with your own essential oils! Just add a few drops of fragrance oil on top of the pearls close to the wick before lighting it to give it a scent.

What's the burn time? / How long do they last?

Foton Pearls burn slower than most candles and last up to 120 hours. Total burn time depends on how it's used - do you relight the same wick or replace it? How long do you burn it before refreshing it? Are you using 1 or multiple wicks at a time?

Do I have to use a new wick every time?

No, but you can if you want! Each wick can burn around 12 hours total and you're welcome to relight it as many times as you'd like until it runs out. That said, we provide 30 wicks with every 18oz Foton Candle so you could refresh it often!

How strong are the scents?

Our candles are designed for large centerpieces, often on dining tables. For this reason, we aim to provide a mild to medium scent profile that is not overwhelming. If you’re looking for a strong scented candle, Foton is likely not right for you.

What are the ingredients? Are they pet-friendly?

Our pearls are made from highly purified and certified sustainable plant-based wax, burning cleanly with minimal smoke or soot. Our products do not contain paraffin, phthalates, parabens, or any known allergens. They're pet & even bird friendly!

Review: I gave these to my Mother and my son gave them to his. Both ladies said they appreciated and loved the simplicity and ability to make any bowl dish trinket glass a candle. Cut the wicks in half and you have a timed candle that goes out without worrying about fire hazards.

Title: I wanted this to be as amazing as it seems but...
Review: It really was just a huge disappointment. The granules are so small they're almost like sand, so it's not super easy to keep them contained and not make a mess. The cold throw is pretty good, but upon lighting it I didn't notice the smell permeating very much at all. That was really unfortunate. But I was super excited about the idea of a floating candle so I tried that… big mistake. I mean, it is pretty cool in theory… but there is no way that I can light this candle that's floating in this water and then somehow return the granules to the container or into another candle without dumping water everywhere. Plus the water did seep up into the granules a little bit along the sides especially. Also requires a lot of room around the wick both beneath it and around the circumference in order to burn properly and even with the allotted amount of room, it's still had trouble burning effectively. I think this is a great idea and I'm not a scientist or whatever so I don't know how this could be executed better but if they figure it out I'll be the first one signing up to give it another shot. This particular iteration just did not hit the mark. A sad, reluctant thumbs down from me.
