“This book is fantastic. The story line is interesting from the start to the end, it hardly makes you want to stop reading it. Being able to read the perspective of different characters adds more to the story and does not drag the story line as some books do. If you read it you will not regret it.

Title: Turbulent Book 1: A post apocalyptic survival
Review: Well-written, interesting, holds your interest. (There is a minor glitch half way thru, however, regarding a mix up in names. Not sure why that wasn't corrected by editing, but it's a small issue if your prepared.) Also, appreciated the lack of swearing and overt sex in the story, thus making this book available to those who care - both young or old.Overall, I enjoyed the first offering, and have already begun Book 2. Additionally, I recommend ordering the professional reader. He does a fine job.

Title: Good series starter
Review: A good starter book for a series. Not so long and survival detailed that it becomes a training guide. Now readers should be ready for more.

Title: Liked it
Review: Just finished Turbulent... liked it. Thought I would write a short review to say so. Read some of your one star reviews to see what others didn't like. I decided they are just trolls, no consistency in their complaints. I kind a got the feeling they are attacking you because they see you as competition. When I don't like a book, I don't finish it, and don't buy another from that author. I don't deliberately try to harm them with one star reviews. What low-life's, must be Democrats.I Bata read for my wife, I also serve as the first editor, in a string of editors. She too is an Indie Author. I think she's good. So are you... don't let the trolls get to you. Your story was believable, good flow, good character development, and only a couple of typos. Much better than most Indie Authors. Another thing I liked, you didn't try to impress us with your knowledge of guns. A pet peeve of mine.Keep writing... just ordered book 2.

Title: A Great Start!
Review: I liked the way the book started. Everything was normal and then it wasnât. Then it progressively got worse! The author did a good job with how the main character, Maddie, developed to this point. Just a normal American teen girl who ends up having to do what is necessary to survive after being saddled with a young child. The story unfolds as we would expect it to, not just in this book but in reality, and as society degenerates we should see how Maddie and the child, Emma, mature and meet this dystopian life head on!

Title: Annoying mfc
Review: Well written and a bit different than other post emp books with this having government involvement but I got so sick of Maddie and her whining and stupidity and just unwillingness to act. During one encounter she was so irritating I found myself yelling at her out loud about how dumb she was and skipped through until she finally got her shit together. I also thought she was very self centered and despite her taking in Emma she didn't seem too concerned about her well being when she had lost her parents brutally right in front of her Maddie showed her no concern or sympathy while whining about her own Dad dying 4 years earlier. She was very offputting but I'm hoping to see some character growth in the next book.. yes I will go on with the series I am invested in the characters now most of which are interesting especially Zach. A decent read if you can look past the irritating flaws of the main female character.

Title: An accurate description about the facts of an apocalypse and I was unable to put down
Review: A wonderful story about what the world would be like in an apocalypse. The characters were very close to what would happen and the panic that would happen. I had a hard time putting it down until it was finished. The author did an amazing job with the characters and made the story very interesting and I am certainly going to read the next. Book in the series.. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes and loves this type of story.

Title: Great read, although some spots were done just wrong (Spoilers)
Review: The story itself flowed really well. I loved the character development and the back and forth between chapters. With all that being said some things really bothered me *SPOLIERS AHEAD * I am curious as to if the author did any research into hermon addicts. In my opinion he did not, some of the things just didn't seem right to me, although carls character was who he was, the drugs anf their effects were off... I hated the way they killed off Emma's parents. Like they randomly run off and get killed ? At least of the dad look at Maddie and say with his eyes " save my daughter ". Also, why develop Kelly as a character and show his warm side with his grandfather, just to kill him off like he was as terrible as Carl. Easily could have let Kelly head back and live out his time protecting his grandfather... other then that, great book.

Title: Thoroughly Enjoyed
Review: This is a fast read series. If you're into the post-apocalyptic genre, you 'll like this series. Yes, there are typos and grammar mistakes but I simply looked past them. Not a big deal! The author puts that out there up front and even requests readers report them in return for a free book! Can't beat that. My review is based on the storyline and character relatability and realism, not the production elements. Could care less about the errors, I was more interested in "seeing" what was coming next. Hats off to the writer!

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. How people change within a few days of an EMP, it brings out the worst in some people. Maddie and her brother Zack have been taught how to survive by there father and his prepper friends. While trying to get home, each from different locations, they both encounter the brutality of society, like they could never of imagined

Review: I'm a fan of post-apocalyptic stories, even though the subject is becoming a bit exhausted. Most angles have been covered before, and the writer has to come up with something spectacular and yet believable to stand out. The story itself in this book is definitely believable. Very unlikely to happen, but plausible. Would events unfold as described in this story? Personally I believe anarchy would be days or even weeks away, rather than minutes or hours. But it's the author's scenario, which as a reader I have to respect. The main characters are well defined, but could be developed even further. For instance, the main character Maddie appears to have a boyfriend somewhere. Yet, the boyfriend is gets literally two sentences in the story. I get that the core family is more important than someone who she might have only met recently, but a partner would usually get more exposure, or a proper explanation why they are not mentioned more.I'm also missing an explanation why for example certain machinery works, while other doesn't. Having some vehicles work, while most aren't, is a somewhat too convenient way of transporting characters over great distances. The writer has created a certain world, and the reader deserves to know if there are any exceptions to the rules.I understand that this is merely the first book in a series of many. Possibly answers will be given in series. The above comments are small details that wouldn't prevent me from pursuing the series. The book was well written, easy to follow, a good length, and most importantly, it was captivating. I'd like to know what will happen to the characters, so I will continue reading. Hopefully the next book(s) are equally good.

Review: Wow this book went straight from 0 to 10 in the first couple of chapters and it was awesome. With the world suddenly thrown in chaos from an EMP strike, Maddie and Zach know they need to get home but Zach is on a school field trip heading home and Maddie was at the airport when it began. Both Maddie and Zachâs father before he died, had prepared them for something like this. Maddie ends up looking after Emma a young girl who just lost her parents. They both witness the horrors of the after affects from the EMP strike along the way.Canât wait for the next book in this series.
