Title: Great, safe, smooth ride !
Review: I just took this scooter out for the first ride and it was absolutely smooth and sturdy. I’m 5”6 and the handlebar sits perfectly where my hips are. When it arrived at my house the tires were deflated so make sure you have an air pump handy. I was able to fill them easily. I was nervous about getting a scooter as an adult, as I had a pretty nasty wipeout on one when I was about 15 but these tires are designed for stability. However, beware of large bumps, I would walk those (bc the deck is low) otherwise small bumps are fine. I highly recommend. Will be using it daily to commute to work.

Title: Lots of fun
Review: The main reason I bought this was to help me keep up with my son when he is riding his A2. Plus it looks like he's having so much fun, but I can't ride his lest I break it. I have had the A5 Air for a few months now and it is great. When we are going out to the park or wherever I just throw our scooters in the trunk of the car so we can pull them out when we get there and glide all around. Also great for cruising the neighborhood or short trips of a mile or two. I saw the description mention 'commuting' which I had thought was hilarious, but honestly if I commuted on mass transit I can totally see riding this a few blocks, folding it up, and jumping on the bus. It's built very sturdy - all solid aluminum construction like you expect from Razor. From the pictures I thought the fenders would be plastic, but they are aluminum as well with a black matte finish. The rear fender serves as a brake and is pretty effective. I am not a huge guy (5'10" 180 lbs) but I am definitely well within design specs. This thing is built for adults for sure. You definitely want to have a good tire pump and tire pressure gage. The tires call for 60 psi, and I can tell you that having them inflated properly is key.I did encounter a quality issue. After about two weeks the rear will started making a 'click-clack' sound which seemed like a bad bearing. I filled in a form on the website and they responded within a couple of days that replacement parts were on the way. They sent a set of two wheels and tires. I was able to swap out the rear wheel with simple tools in about 5 minutes, and now I have a spare as well. I am giving 5 stars because of the frictionless resolution of the issue. I have been riding for a few months since then and no further problems.

Title: A really good scooter !
Review: I do like this scooter a lot! I bought 3 scooters, this was the first one. It has a nice low deck which makes it easy to kick from since you don't have to bend your other leg that much. Just beware that the deck is really low when you go over edges etc. The pneumatic tires make this a really quiet scooter, people do not hear you coming ! However, those tires do not stay hard for very long, perhaps a week or two, before you would want to inflate again. The problem is that the valves are difficult to attach a pump to, since they are small and really close to the rims. The other problem is that the folding mechanism is too slow. If you don't need to fold it for your use that is not a problem, but if you go on a bus it is most practical to fold it. Otherwise it is a really good scooter, and comfortable too. Sturdily built. The rear push-down foot brake does work somewhat even in wet conditions since the tires are pneumatic and not Polyurethane.

Title: Solid frame
Review: Easy to carry on public transportation. Rides better on bumpy streets. The wheels should be a little larger. The scooter is a little low to the ground. I use the scooter for rides to work and cardio exercises.

Title: Wow! The A5 is GREAT.
Review: The A5 is so, so, sooooooo much safer than the hard wheel, polyurethane wheel, scooters. The neumatic wheels absorb bumps that would otherwise send you flying. The air tires give you a bit of breathing room and safety over rough terrain, city streets, and can even roll over grass and dirt. Now, having said that... and echoing other well written reviews, the low clearance is dangerous on city streets and uneven terrain. You must go slow and pay great attention to any irregularities in the road.Fortunately, the air tires will easily ride over many of the bumps that polyurethane wheel will send you flying. But still, the low clearance of the A5, while wonderful for kicking, will often catch an uneven sidewalk and even at dead slow speeds, the scooter will stop and move your body forward. At faster speeds you could tumble.Even so, the A5 has been the best purchase in a very long time. Very useful. We traveled to Japan and using a jerry rigged strap, slung it over the shoulders on to our back, then carried it on the trains, and used it to easily get around the city. Even over The Rainbow Bridge. We purchased fancy 30$ high grade bearings for the wheels which reduced the rolling resistance considerably.People 100% need to buy the bering, it increases the glide a lot.The A5 is also a great workout vehicle. Working the arms, legs, glutes and core. You can really work up a burn if you want too, otherwise, it's a great way to get around town.

Title: Great for my huge child!
Review: My son is 10 years old 5’e” and 150 pounds. The thinner traditional scooters were not working for him and I was looking for something affordable that could fit his size and large feet… This was perfect! He is still a child, just the size of a small adult and it’s hard to find “child” toys that allow him to still play with his friends.

Review: Muy buen artículo, las llantas al principio son complicadas de hecharle aire, pero después del uso como que la válvula se acomoda y puedes ayudarte con un desarmador.En general se siente bien, lo usa un niño de 11 años

Review: I was drawn to this one because of its pneumatic tires, since one of the convenient shortcuts near me is rough enough that I figured it wouldn't be worth my time to try hard tires. I'm so glad I did the research and decided on this as one of the main criteria, because I am very pleased with this choice. This scooter is indeed impressively smooth, even over sidewalk cracks, dirt paths, and even some hard-packed dirt-and-gravel alleyways. It's not perfectly smooth over these surfaces, of course, but quite surprisingly tolerable (even to my sensitive 10-year-old). Sometimes it's necessary to loosen and re-tighten (being careful not to over-tighten) the anti-rattle mechanism to ensure the vibration is minimized, but even my 10-year-old can diagnose and fix this problem easily.I do wish the handlebars could go a little taller, though. I'm 6'0", and the handlebars feel slightly too low for me. The scooter is still usable, but I keep noticing myself hunching over and have to remind myself to straighten my arms more instead. I also wish the deck was a little smidgen bigger, for a little more space to rest my kicking foot while gliding... yet another tall-person problem, due to larger feet.Sigh... just because I'm tall, doesn't mean I've outgrown the idea of having fun while moving around!! I can't help but hope there's plans in place for an A6 or A7 Air, to capitalize on all the things this scooter does excellently but to expand the market to allow even taller people to join this world too. Or if some other brand jumps in and fills this niche, I hope someone thinks to tell me about it so I can check them out~!

Review: Intended to get a scooter to have fun with my daughter, this allow me to ride easily, comfortably and moderate speed to stay close with my daughter. It can go fast also for personal errands, and the tyre design make it safe to carry some packages while riding. Good one! Some comments here said that hard to inflate the tyre due to the design, but I don’t find it difficult. Just need to get the angle right will do.Happy buy with good discount from here. Recommended!

Review: A lot lot of researchers between a5 lux, dlx, a6 and others unknown brand, razor is the best of quality! A5 air is a balance between a5lux and A6, air tire with minimize rattling system make the scooter so quiet and so confortable!! I did not feel the air tire slower much then the others but the low deck remind your attention of the ground situation. Overall I am very pleasure of my choice especially with the lowest price now!! Highly recommend it for children and adult!! Btw, I’m a 5f11 and 210p guy, the scooter fits me perfectly! Merry Christmas and happy new year!!

Customers say
