Title: A good scooter and a smooth ride. Don't ride on wet pavement.
Review: Our family has five large kick-scooters that we've been using for school runs/commuting (1.5 miles one way) for the past 2 years. We have the razor a6, razor a5, and Skidee X3M in our collection. This review provides a summary of our experiences and broader research on kick scooters for adults and children.Part 1: Broader introduction to kick scooters. This section summarizes my overall impression/experiences with different types of kick scooters on the market. Skip to Part 2 for details of the razor a6Larger wheels mean faster/smoother rides. Polyurethane (plastic) wheels are faster and require less maintenance, and inflated tires are slower, smoother, and have more reliable traction on wet pavement. It is risky to use polyurethane wheels in wet conditions!Shocks make for a smoother ride, but actually wheel size is probably the most important thing still. There are two main drawbacks of having shocks on a scooter: (1) to allow the deck to bounce without scraping the ground, the deck height is set higher - it is more work (or better exercise) to use, especially at low speeds, and (2) shocks have moving parts, and moving parts can break (more on this in part 2).Brakes matter. Polyurethane wheels do not get very good traction on a metal brake - kick scooter brakes will help you slow down, they are not for stopping on command. When you break, it dumps a lot of heat into the break - a heavy break will help dissipate that heat so you don't melt your shoes. There are many different kick scooters on the market that all look very similar. I suspect (but do not know) that they are all basically relying on the same set of manufacturers for key components, and the rest is branding. You will probably get more responsive customer service from established brands.Part 2: Specific review of the Razor A6.<\strong> This section summarizes specific details/experiences with A6 scooter in particularI've had this scooter for a bit over one year.I crashed on this scooter my first time taking it out. I took a corner on wet sidewalk, nothing crazy, and wiped out! I learned to be a bit more careful and this has never happened again. I had better traction with other kick scooters, but in general I recommend not riding any polyurethane wheeled scooter on wet pavement. The brake on the razor a6 is not very responsive, in my opinion, and it is relatively thin so it's not very effective for heat dissipation when breaking - the brake gets HOT, like REALLY HOT. Move your shoe around when braking so you don't melt the sole, I guess. The scooter is probably a bit unwieldy for kids under 7. Ages 8+ can probably handle it just fine, but again be mindful that this scooter (and probably others with the same polyurethane type wheels) have poor traction on wet pavement. The wheels are large enough that I don't miss having shocks - the ride is pretty smooth overall. In the year that I've had it, I've had zero issues with maintenance. It runs like new, never even had to tighten a screw. Similar experience with the razor a5. The non-branded scooters require regular maintenance (e.g. tightening screws) and one even had the shock mechanism completely snap. I would highly recommend razor scooters over any other brand if you are putting in 500+ miles per year.

Title: High quality, smooth ride!
Review: I bought this scooter back in Spring 2021, and I love it. I used it for a bit when I didn't have a car (riding around town, to the grocery store, to class, etc) and it came in clutch. Now I just ride it to and from campus. The bearings are SO nice, the ride is very smooth. Only complaint is that it takes some muscle to fold up, so I try not to... Oh, and you can't do as many tricks on this scooter as you could a smaller one, fyi. Overall, would definitely recommend this for scooting around town!

Title: Razor A6 Kick Scooter
Review: This scooter is doubtless a top of the line model as it is just perfect. It looks good, is easy to assemble and folds up easily for storage. The wheels on this model are larger than on many other models so that it glides over sidewalk cracks more easily. The handlebars can be set at extra tall, taller than other models so most anyone can find a height to suit them even if very tall. It will hold riders up to 220 pounds. My choice, the silver, really, really looks good, a bonus!! Finally, the foot bed is also a bit larger. This scooter is another of my best Amazon.com purchases. Love it!!

Title: Racer Old Lady Scooter Mom!!!
Review: Bought this scooter to keep up with my toddler who is a crazy fast daredevil scooter girl. Even though I didn't want to spend so much money, I'm really glad I did. This scooter is very sturdy and comfortable. There's enough room for my large feet and the handlebar is tall enough. This has been worth every penny for me and I have to admit it's a lot of fun. I use it almost every day since my toddler is obsessed with her scooter. It's also great exercise and currently saving me some money since I don't have to buy a gym membership yet.

Title: Adult scooter is accurate
Review: I recently purchased an A6 Razor scooter and I have to say, I have been thoroughly enjoying riding it. It has been years since I last rode a scooter, but this purchase was well worth the price. I weigh 230lbs and The smooth gliding and effortless maneuverability of the scooter make it a joy to ride. I have been taking it to the park and it has been a hit with everyone. The sturdy construction and sleek design make it a standout scooter and I have received many compliments on it. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my A6 Razor scooter. it's nice to see heads turning at the park when I ride by!The only complaint I have is that the double locking mechanism at the neck of the handling shaft keeps coming loose, every now and then I hand tighten it but it comes loose over time with the vibration so if I tighten it down to hard then it'll stiffen my steering! so I'll have to reduce what could have been a 5 star to a 4 star.

Title: A great buy with no assembly
Review: I am a 130 pound adult with a very bad knee. When I'm not riding my bike, this scooter has allowed me to go for miles without any pain in my knee, that would usually occur while walking. It's amazing. It's very sturdy, and folds easily or I can lock it up like a bicycle.

Review: Lo compré para mi hija de 10, aunque le queda grande, ella ya se adaptó. Sabiendo que mis hijos mayores estarían agarrándolo para jugar ellos también jajaja. Lo he usado yo. Mi peso es de apróx. 75 kg. Funciona excelente. El material es bastante rígido y el producto está bien hecho.

Review: It's a Razor. These are the guys that make the one you want. Solid unit, no rattles, no wobbles. Carries my 220 pounds without a complaint. The big wheels and tall bars make it a dream to operate. If you are wondering if you could somehow safely operate one of these built for someone your size, instead of stealing your kids and goofing around on it, this is the one for you. 100% satisfied. As noted in the title - two minutes after I took it out of the box I was riding it. Assembly is plugging the bar ends in and tightening the flip handle. If you ever bought one for a kid, you know what I mean. Same fantastic unboxing experience. As an adult who doesn't want to scratch up his shiny new scooter or, honestly, even have to lean over to pick it up from the garage floor, the COOLEST thing is the kickstand though. Roll up on your cool new aluminum whip, flip the kickstand down and stroll off. You will feel like a middle aged baller 😉 .If you are reading to find out if you should buy it, stop reading. Just buy it. Easily just as fun as you think, super well built, two minutes from box to ride, terrific fun to ride... and did I mention the kickstand?

Review: I have a xootr and a micro flex deluxe scooter. The A6 rolls very well and smooth. Minimal rattle. In terms of speed, I can roll on a flat surface easily at 14km/h to 17km/h. On sprints it can go up to 20km/h. The large wheels contribute better to stability. In my opinion the ride performance is on par with my Xootr.l, though the Xootr is built better. On the minus side, it can be jarring when the road is not smooth. Also the brakes are not as effective as my other 2 scooters.Overall this is a solid scooter and I highly recommend it.

Review: Peso más de 90 kilos y mido 1.80. Soporta mi peso de buena manera. Hay que tener en cuenta que es algo pequeño, solo cabe un pie dentro del patín.
