Title: Nasty But Fair
Review: I've work my way through the big Saturday puzzles from NYT and WSJ. These are, in their own way, harder. Clues are fair, but each creator has their own quirks in how they think, and I find I have to think more imaginatively with these. That's okay. I want hard. But I find little that depends on knowledge unique to a generation and so impossible if that's not you. A fair but fiendish mind is behind these.

Title: Slim lightweight book travels easily
Review: This slim volume slides into my purse for traveling. Book arrived very promptly and was well packaged. I like “Fridays” - are challenging ( I do use the “cheat sheet” a fair amount) but not frustrating. I’m working my way up to Saturday and Sunday. I’ll be ordering more, as the 50 puzzles in this series go by fast.

Title: Relaxing and Enjoyable Tuesday Crossword Puzzle Book
Review: I liked the spiral notepad format that enabled me to complete the crossword puzzles without a struggle. The print is large in size and well-suited therefore to older readers and those with vision problems. The crossword puzzles themselves are very good. They are sufficiently difficult to be challenging but not so difficult as to become problematic on a lazy afternoon. I think the average crossword puzzle solver will enjoy this book.

Title: Challenging but possible
Review: Much better than the Sunday puzzles which are so arcane that they are not enjoyable. The Wall Street Journal puzzles are the best.

Title: More challenging than I expected. I guess I have been spoiled by my last puzzle book.
Review: I like the format of this book, but I don't pick it up every day. The last NYT crossword puzzle book I used seemed easier but maybe it is just old age kicking in. Still, it's much better than daytime TV.

Review: Not all of these books include puzzles with visual themes (like shading or circling boxes). This line does and it really amps up the puzzles
