Title: Quality product. Excellent value
Review: I don't consider myself a tech savvy person but I wanted to install this alarm system and there was no one else to do it. It was so easy. The app is very simple to understand. I put in two door sensors and a motion sensor. I would have done my windows but I live in a 120-year-old house and all the windows are double hung. I couldn't figure out a way to install the sensors on these kind of windows but it really didn't matter because I felt that the doors were the most important. Again this product is very easy and the app makes everything super simple.

Title: very good
Review: Although I have set up a number of wifi cameras, this is my first home security system and it was a bit more challenging for me. The basic set up was easy enough using the user's manual. The base station connected to the 2.4 Ghz band of my WiFi without issue and I was able to add each of the components. I already had the Smart Life app and it found the device. Initially I had an issue of constant SOS alerts which ended when I went to settings and turned "Remote Alert Notification" off--no idea why the remotes would send any notifications but apparently they did. There aren't too many sensors so I placed two on the exterior doors and two on what I considered the most vulnerable windows on the first floor. They all operate as they should. I placed the motion detector so that it would pick up activity in a large bay window area on the first floor and it works well there. I may add more sensors. Both the remotes and the keypad work exactly as intended. I am not an Alexa gal so I added the alarm system to Google Home and, due to operator error, proceeded to go crazy trying to get Google Assistant to operate the system because "she" kept demanding a "pin number". After some frustration I discovered that she wanted the Google pin number (I had to set one up). YOU MUST ENTER THE GOOGLE PIN NUMBER IN THE ALARM SYSTEM SETTINGS!!! This goes under "Google Password" even though it is NOT your Google password. Nowhere could I find a way to get around having a Google pin number and we could discuss whether Google is one of the tech firms taking over the world but I simply don't care now that it works my alarm system. If you are a tech wizard you may not run into any issues, but I had to be dogged to get a good system operating perfectly. I live in far from quick law enforcement response so the very loud alarm is hopefully a deterrent to criminals and the alert on my phone is an unmistakable chime. I recommend this alarm system for the money and I am glad I have it.

Title: Very nice system, excellent valve, Instructions are quirky
Review: This is my third security system over the past 20 years. The instructions could be simpler and more concise. The SMS push feature requires a monthly subscription - too bad. My camera system provides push capabilities at no charge. But the components are compact and nicely finished. Inconspicuous. The alarm is loud enough to be heard throughout the house. The operation of the keypad and fobs are intuitively simple. The price is exceptionally good. Thumbs up.

Title: Works as both home alarm and mailbox notification device.
Review: I was not very bright and always thought that the red flag on mailboxes were for "You got mail!". I called the post office and he explained my mistake. He told me that I can find mechanical devices that are yellow. That pop up when the door is opened. They ran from 18-30+ dollars. They also sell dedicated electronic devices that notify you when the box has been opened. those ran from 35-60+ dollars. Some had 600 foot ranges. I am on a very tight budget. I am always looking for ways that I can adapt that do the same job at a cheaper price.I came across this system. It was WiFi, came with an app, and was $22 after the discount. I couldn't get the app to discover the Gateway. But it was there after it said that it failed. It worked, sort of. The Gateway would constantly go into SOS mode(triggered). Now I know that it says that it's for 2.4g and I have only 5g for now. So I thought that might be the issue. I called Spectrum and they set my router to 2.4g for 1 hour(max time). There was no change. So 5g was not the problem. Also, I could not get Alexa to discover it. Again phoned Spectrum to set my network to 2.4g. No luck, I kept getting the same message. That Alexa could not complete my request at this time. I then noticed that Bing set itself as the default browser. And the connection to Alexa was going through Bing. I then changed my default browser to Chrome and Bingo. Everything connected flawlessly except for the constant SOS alarms. 100s of them.So I took a chance that I get a defective Gateway. The replacement came today. Bingo, no false alarms. Then came the last hurdle. I don't know if it's in the instructions or not. But the device was not triggering when the door was opened. No matter how hard that I tried. I wondered if perhaps the metal box caused interference with the magnetic field. Nope, it has to be placed on a particular side. Once I turned it upside down it works perfectly. Couldn't be happier. No more walking in the rain to find no mail.To sum up. It will work with 5g. Use Chrome as your default browser. And make sure that the correct side is facing the magnet. This is how it worked for me. If I have issues in the future I will update my review. But it's a basic system. So I don't expect any issues going forward.

Title: Do not buy this product
Review: I don't like how you have to pay for something Never got told! To check out the Alerts, you have to open the app.In order to do that. The other way is To pay for monthly I did not see That when I bought this product ( 0 âï¸s' ) Waste of time and money.

Title: Sensor History
Review: The system meets basic expectations with no hardware issues and easy setup. However, my low rating is due to software and configuration issues. The history log only shows arm/disarm activities, not sensor activity, so I can't see when the door opens or closes. Additionally, the base station's beeping during the exit delay is extremely loud and affects the siren volume if lowered, making the siren ineffective. Lastly, there is also no exit delay for âarming at homeâ. The SW requires serious development.
