Title: bought solely for leak detection
Review: setup for me was easy. I already have 7 Arlo cameras and I am familiar with technology but the app makes it easy. I set these up for leak detection in the basement after I did some DIY plumbing... (seriously). the other feature I set up is alarm detection - but I wasn't quite sure how I enjoyed that it had to be calibrated to a specific alarm. this may help reduce false positives, but I actually wanted it to detect non-smart water detector alarms in addition to smoke/co2. overall I am quite happy so far.

Title: Terrible quality for an arlo device
Review: I was very surprised and very disappointed with this alarm system. Especially for the price point. This device didnât even work for the duration of the arlo secure trial it came with. Not even half of it actually, within the first week and a half it started disconnecting from the WiFi multiple times a day and half the time I couldnât even arm the alarm or unarm the alarm when I re entered my home. If I did manage to see the alarm and then couldnât un arm the alarm upon reentry of my home when it did reconnect to the WiFi it would then notice someone had came through the door and immediately go off and try to call 9-11. After about 5 days or so of that pattern it completely stopped connecting to the WiFi which then led me to factory reset the device in an attempt to fix it since it was hardly over a week old. That just let to the device being a brick and doing nothing as it did not fix the problem and would crash or freeze the arlo app when I did get it to attempt to connect. Most of the time it wouldnât even search for a network⦠it is worth mentioning I have over 8 other arlo cameras and a hub for my house already and non of the those devices would disconnect or lose WiFi at any point and my hub and cameras are 5 years old. Its a shame to see how poorly their quality has became. Worst part is, still having faith that I just got a lemon I tried to get a refund and repurchase the same device to give it a second chance because Iâm brand loyal and it turns out I bought it on sale and now have to spend an extra 60$ to even give the alarm system another go around. I cannot say I recommend this product. Thats sad to say as Iâve stood by arlo and recommended them to family and friends for years. Boy do I likely look like an idiot

Title: Difficult to install initially, but works well now.
Review: Difficult to install due to buttons not working as expected/designed, otherwise it works very well once completely set up. Easy to engage/disengage remotely, and basic monitoring isnât too expensive. Recommended if youâre somewhat tech savvy.

Title: Works as expected
Review: So far the system works nicely and it integrates well with my previously bought Arlo cameras. I did encounter the problem of pairing the sensors with the app, and it may have been that simply updating the app did the trick; note that Arlo asks you to upgrade the account when pairing the base, but this seems not the same as updating the app on your phone. Once finished, all worked as I expected.

Title: It has problems
Review: The largest problem I have had is a false fire alarm. The good news is it was reported. Other than that not good. The person who called was practically panicking. Checking the cameras there was no reason for the alarm so I canceled the alarm. I went home just to be sure and there were no issues. The all-in-one sensors seem ok but in practice sensing the smoke/co2 alarm through sound doesnât work.Installation was easy for the most part. I was having problems with the installation of one sensor and support was little help. I ended up figuring it out on my own.I liked the Arlo cameras and they are a good product. I trusted Arlo based on the cameras but that trust may have been misplaced. The alarm system feels like a beta product at best. Even if I didnât face the issues I have faced this system lacks features of the camera system making this a subpar product.I will hold out and hope they get the system to a better place.Update: In the past 2 weeks I have had additional issues. I have now had one sensor fail to set when arming, even though the door was fully closed and locked when I left. I was not notified that it failed to set when I left. I went into the app to check the cameras and saw the alarm failed to be properly set. There has also been another false alarm while vacuuming. The alarm system thought the vacuum was a carbon monoxide alarm.

Title: Warning -- Will not work on uneven doors
Review: I have owned Arlo cameras for years and was excited when I found out that Arlo now has a home security system. I purchased the five sensors system with wired keypad. Setup of the first sensor was easy. I connected it to the keypad, then attached the sensor and magnet to the sliding glass doors. Worked flawlessly. The problem began with the other sensors. Unfortunately all the other doors in our home have a decorative trim on the frame so it was impossible to get the sensors and magnets to line up. If they aren't lined up the sensors cannot detect motion. I contacted Arlo for assistance but none of the agents I interacted with could provide a viable solution. I basically was told that the sensors won't work with uneven doors. Sadly, I had to return the item.
