A reader favorite Anetakis Tycoons story from #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Maya Banks, originally published as The Tycoon’s Rebel Bride in 2009.

Tycoon Theron Anetakis had only one problem—and she just walked through his door. With his business takeover complete, he’d intended to arrange a marriage for himself to further secure his future. However…

Little Isabella Caplan had blossomed into a voluptuous vixen with plans of her own, and they didn’t include letting the executor of her father’s estate arrange a marriage for her to another man! She had pined for Theron long enough. Now it was time to seduce her hot-blooded hotel tycoon and bring him to one bended knee.

“Isabella is…charming as she leads Theron on a merry chase that will have readers rooting for both of them.” —RT Book Reviews on The Bride

Title: The most plot with the least filler
Review: Out of all the maya banks novels I have read so far, this one by far has the most plot development. Yes, yes, it's a cliche idea. Girl falls in love with boy, girl grows up, girl sets out to get boy. However, a lot of these harlequin type novels just use sex to push the plot along to the end. This particular book had some exciting twists and turns and was a real page turner. These kind of books are my guilty pleasure and I really enjoyed reading this one.

Title: Two very satisfying stories
Review: The description in the synopsis doesn’t make it clear but what you are buying is two novellas, each by a different author. The author’s styles are similar enough that they fit well together. Although they were both long novella length, neither felt rushed or lacking. Certainly well worth the current price, which is under $4.The Bride is the story that the synopsis describes. The only thing that kept this from being a five star read for me was the fact that Bella repeatedly jumped to conclusions and refused to listen when someone was trying to explain a situation to her. She frustrated me a bit.In a Rich Man’s World is about a female reporter who does an in depth gossip column, except it isn’t gossip. She gets a chance to do a story about a rich man, who’s famous for being a playboy and a bit of a cold fish. Once again, the author relied on the hasty assumption and refusal to listen to an explanation, by both protagonists. Without that, it would have been 4.5 stars. There were a couple of minor editing issues.

Title: No comparison the the first book in this series.
Review: Unfortunately, this 2nd book did not compare to the first. I read the first book in 2 sittings and couldn't put it down. I struggled just to finish this one. If you like strictly romance with not alot else going on, this might be for you.

Title: Part of a series, awesome read.
Review: This story is the 2nd about the Anetakis brothers and I loved the first one. Some times the middle book in a series of three is a slow read but not this one, the heroine is funny and sassy and the hero is at a loss as to handle her brand of temptation. Read it, you will love the Anetakis brothers as well.

Title: Banks Book Good, Other One Not So Much
Review: This is a compilation of two books. I decided to give the overall rating to just the Maya Banks book because I liked it so much and I actually purchased it for that novel. The other book was so unimpressive that I didn't want to rank the Banks book lower because of it.THE BRIDE by Maya Banks: This is the second book in the Anetakis Tycoons series about three Greek brothers. This is the story of Theron Anetakis who has decided to settle down with an appropriate woman and have a family. He ends up having to take responsibility for Isabella Caplan who is a ward of a sort of his family (they are managing her trust). While Theron wants to consider Bella a child that he remembers, she refuses to allow him to see her that way. Bella has come to New York with a purpose: to seduce Theron, the man she has loved for years. I really liked this story. It is a series romance so it is not deep, but I loved the sassy determined Bella. The story is a bit predictable, but the characters make up for it. Rating: 4 stars.IN A RICH MAN'S WORLD by Carol Marinelli: Amelia Jacobs is a celebrity reporter looking to become a business reporter. When she gets the assignment of meeting and reporting on Vaughan Mason, it goes so poorly that Amelia thinks her career is over. Instead, she ends up being invited to travel with Vaughan and ends up falling in love with him. When she finds out that her newspaper has been lying to her it is too late to save her relationship with Vaughan. I wanted to like this story. The setup was interesting, but I never felt a connection between the characters. I was completely annoyed with how Amelia blames Vaughan for not trusting her when she did the identical thing to him and never apologized! The resolution was too quick and I ended up disliking the book. Rating: 1.5 stars.

Title: Seduction & Trust
Review: This book included 2 stories. The Bride by Maya Banks was good. Isabella had Theron's brain working overtime. I love her determination and will to get Theron and then give him up. I shed tears when she was telling him she was giving him up so he could be happy with the woman he loves and wants a family with. I'm glad things worked out.The second story was In The Rich Man's World by Carol Marinelli. Vaughn & Amelia were funny at times. She was a journalist & was writing a story about him. She traveled a week with him to get the hands on story and their feelings for each other emerged. Secret things come out and their trust for each other is tested. At the end it's not stated if their baby Rory was their biological child or adopted. It was good book.

Title: 5 STARS FOR VAUGHAN MASON!!!!!!
Review: Have to say I absolutely loved, loved, loved Carol Marinelli's book portion of this "double book" of two completely different stories. Vaughan Mason is a delicious business tycoon to die for.....so careful, so caring, so brilliant, so funny, so loving. What a great story and so different and refreshing. Sorry to say I was totally disappointed with Maya's book portion. Very predictable and silly.......really not like Maya's usual writing. Gave this book 5 stars based solely on Carol Marinelli's book about Vaughan and his love for Amelia.
