Title: Serial console cable for Apple silicon
Review: No issues with this at all as a Cisco / HPE / etc. console cable for a Mac based an Apple silicon. Running MacOS 14 on an M3 Macbook Pro. I believe it worked out of the box without a driver installer. I just found tty.serial (or whatever) under /dev and used screen. Was using Keyspan before this but that USB to serial device's best days are behind it, with no driver support. After realizing this works, I bought a second one to use with my other Intel, M1 and M2 Macs.

Review: I'm a network engineer by trade and am always looking for replacement console cables. I like the FTDI ones because they work better with Windows than the older ones. This one has worked great for the past year or two. It has a permanent spot in my laptop backpack. I'd recommend this to others!

Title: Broken in 5 Months, still recieved a refund!
Review: The cable doesn't register connected after a few months and ~100 uses. Lightly used, kept cable clean, and stored very well. The device has trouble registering when connecting to my MacBook Pro 14. I cannot recommend it and must look for a better alternative.Edit: support reached out quickly after this review and fully refunded my 5 month old purchase. Very happy with thier support.
