Title: Needed a new sewing machine, but did not want to invest in a super high-end one
Review: I’ve recently taken up quilting, but my old machine did not have various presser foot available. I decided to get a new machine, but was not going to invest in a high-end machine. This one was recommended by another quilter and when I looked at it, it met all my needs and more. You can definitely quilt on it and so. Comes with, a variety of presser feet, which is great because they’re very expensive to buy separately, beginner friendly, and can still be used for more advanced projects

Title: Amazing sewing machine
Review: I did a lot of comparing machines before I purchased this Brother. I was used to sewing on a very large sophisticated, expensive sewing/embroidery machine. The machine has now become too heavy for me to lift to put on my kitchen table where I have to sew. When I received my new Brother I was in the middle of a project and decided to start sewing with it immediately. The directions were very clear and the longer I sewed the more functions I was able to use. This machine is unbelievable for the price and quality. I am an experienced sewer and this machine has the bells and whistles that you would find on a much more expensive machine. It is lightweight and can easily be moved off of the table and stored while not in use. The up and down needle position button is great. I have used this machine a lot and have not found one negative yet. I highly recommend this machine to a beginner or advanced sewer.

Title: Great machine!
Review: I am a 74-year-old lady who has sewn since I was 12 years old. I mostly do alterations and mending. My previous machine was 22 years old so using a more modern machine has created a learning curve. However, this machine is easy to use, sturdy built and adequate weight (not to light weight). For the price and easy operation, I would recommend this machine for beginners or those who use a sewing machine infrequently.

Title: The perfect upgrade for my old machine
Review: My first Brother I purchased over 15 years ago, possibly 20. As long as I stick with Brother bobbins I don't have a problem. Sometimes I forget and use a different bobbin and everything gets all bound up underneath. I upgraded to this one because I am in the grandmother stage and making quilts for my grandchildren and want to be able to stitch the year on it. I was doing it by hand and it's not terrible. But after many months of doing hand embroidery I really want a nice clean lettering. I don't need a real fancy machine because this gets the job done! My favorite feature is the self-threading capability. Especially as I get older! I am not sure if I like the horizontal spool position. My old brother machine had a vertical spool. Like anything else it just takes time getting used to an upgrade. I'm not sure why the horizontal position matters though.

Title: Fantastic sewing machine
Review: I was amazed at how nice this sewing machine is. I’ve always bought Singer machines before and normally I have a lot of trouble with the tension being too tight and being difficult to thread the needle and inserting the bobbin and so forth. I just thought that was normal for a sewing machine. But this Brother is so easy to thread the needle and it was a breeze to insert the bobbin. The instructions are very plain and simple to follow. And the guide is very easy to see and get a straight line. Also a lot of little convenient buttons that make sewing a snap. This machine is definitely worth the price.
