Title: Just what I needed
Review: The shade is completely perfect especially for the price. It does allow good light but it keeps me from being blinded while at my workbench in the afternoon. I didn't want something completely solid because I do like my window. It's like sunglasses for your room. The quality is good, it was easy to hang, and I like the chain cord. Couldn't be happier!

Title: Nice product
Review: Nice looking, easy installation, makes the room very cozy. These are reversible meaning that you can have the chain pull on the left or right hand side of the window opening. One of my three windows was trimmed a touch tighter than the other two and the shade would not operate properly. The first clue was that the retractable pin would not easily snap into the bracket, like the others, because the spacing was too tight. For this one window I removed the thin plastic covers that are attached to each bracket to gain an extra 1/8" of room which eliminated the need to modify the trim. The absence of the covers will never be noticed by anyone else.

Title: LOVE IT!!!
Review: I have a bay window in the eating area of my kitchen and it has a southern exposure. The windows are dual pane and while they don't allow huge amounts of summer heat to enter the house they allow more than they used to due to the rising temperatures here in the San Joaquin Valley. I decided to get a shade to help keep some of the heat at bay while still providing light to filter through. I spent a great deal of time looking at shades here on Amazon and had several in my cart when I came upon this one. It featured the transparency I wanted, came in a color I really liked, and it came in just the right size for my window frame. The vast majority of the reviews were 5 stars and frankly the price was really good so I took a chance and ordered it. I am a 70+ year old woman who has had back surgery and I installed it in less than 30 minutes. I am handy but I am still surprised that people had trouble with the installation. The only thing that gave me trouble was figuring out how to actually put the shade into the installed brackets by myself as it was more than 5 feet long. A tower of boxes set on the window sill allowed me to set the shade down after I put the chain pull end in place so that I could move the ladder in order to snap the remaining end in place. An extra pair of hands would have been helpful. This would not have been an issue with a shorter width. Once the shade was put into the brackets I cut the tapes holding the roll in place and used the chain to lower it. Then used the chain to raise it. I installed the bracket to hold the chain in place to keep my cats from playing with it.I installed this shade using the brackets in the ceiling mode as that was what worked for my window. I would suggest to anyone installing one of these shades to take the time to plan the installation before you pick up your drill. Know where the shade is going to go and that it is going to fit where you want to put it. Put the shade on the floor and put the ends and the brackets on and measure the assembled width. I was doing an inside the frame installation where the brackets were mounted to the upper "ceiling" corners of the wooden window frame so that is where I measured and I knew before I started that the shade would fit properly. And fit it did! While the instructions that come with the shade are not the best they are good enough to get the job done. They rely mostly on pictures.I think this shade is well made and I am really happy with it. The brackets are well made, have no sharp edges and the slots allow for very minor adjustments in order to get the distance between them just right. I would definitely buy more of them if needed for other windows.

Title: Great Simple/Minimal Shade
Review: First, the instructions were awful. I ended up assembling the whole thing, held it up to the door and marked the brackets and drilled it on. The directions had no measurements or anything to go by.As for the shade, it was exactly what I was looking for. It is light filtering and still somewhat see through. The sun rises through our back door and was super bright in the mornings, and this shade blocks the sun perfectly without being too dark. At night you can not see out of the shade, but you can see in. I picked the grey color and it looks great. The chain function is smooth and the parts overall are great quality. Very happy with this!

Title: Impressive!
Review: I ordered three custom solar shades with "improved" valances. The seller contacted me right away to confirm my measurements and I received my custom shades in a very short time considering they come directly from overseas. I installed them this morning, took at most 10 minutes per shade. The brackets are very nice and the shades snap right in. For anyone who was curious about the difference in whites (as I was), there is no difference between ice white and off white. The shade is a very pleasant warm white. I will be ordering more shades for the rest of my windows!

Title: Good customer service
Review: Unfortunately these did not work for our windows because we didn't have enough depth at the header but the quality was very good and the customer service was responsive and tried to help us find a solution but unfortunately it didn't work with our windows. My only complaint is the chain and wish they had another solution for narrower window depths. Overall nice quality and would recommend if it fits our window.

Review: Me sorprendió mucho el efecto que tiene de poder ver hacia afuera, pero que no se vea lo que hay dentro, así que cumple bastante bien con mantener tu privacidad durante el día. El producto es muy bueno, sin duda te lo recomiendo, además de que los materiales se sienten de bastante calidad, por ejemplo los tirantes metálicos (no estoy seguro que se llamen así), o cadenita.Ahora puedo tener la persiana blackout abierta todo el día, y eso me encanta.Lo que no me encantó fue el tiempo que tardaron en enviar el producto. No sé si es problema de Amazon con los productos gringos, o si son los vendedores, ya que tardaron unas 3 semanas en enviarlo, y de la fecha de envío hasta la entrega fue rapidísimo, menos de 5 días.En fin, si quieres privacidad, y poder ver lo que pasa fuera, esta es tu opción. No dudes en comprarla.
