Title: Nice sheets but poor construction
Review: These sheets are soft, yes, and 100% cotton but I wouldn't say these are trueEgyptian cotton. Also, this is how it arrived to me out of the package. The hole has gotten about 3" bigger. For $60 I shouldn't have to sew them up.Edit: After washing I found another seam in one of the pillowcase that came apart. The company was very nice and offered a full refund to make up for the oopsie but I've already washed and repaired. Again, nice sheets and a caring company but I'm glad I know how to sew.

Title: This is not nearly as thick and dense as other 800 TC Egyptian Cotton sheets I have
Review: The bed sheet is fine if you can get a really good price, but I had hopes it would feel similar to the 800 TC Egyptian cotton sheets I have from Wal-Mart and from Target that I needed to replace. Unfortunately, these sheets were just thinner and did not have the dense luxurious feel of my other sheets. They are densely woven sheets that have a sateen weave and could potentially be 800TC, but the thread diameter is clearly lacking.I realize these are not Egyptian cotton, but supposedly the "long staple" nature of Egyptian cotton is what made Egyptian cotton special (not that it was Egyptian). Therefore, an extra long staple cotton was supposed to be as high quality as sheet labelled Egyptian cotton. This is not true here, but they are still nice if you can get a deal.UPDATE: I changed the review to 5 Stars because the company has the best customer service and stands behind their product. They will make sure you are fully satisfied.

Title: Inaccurate Product Description--UPDATE a Month Later--"Caveat Emptor"
Review: UPDATE: I received an email from the manufacturer, apologizing for my unsatisfactory experience, which was nice. Later, I got another email, offering a full refund--just had to return the email with the "Full Refund" option checked. So I did just that--and never heard from anyone about it again. So, between that and Amazon's less-than-stellar Customer Service response, figure I'm stuck with these. Just want other shoppers to know it can be a crapshoot when we buy these bedding items shipped over from China.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Design doesn't show on both sides of sheets although it appears to on top sheet in product description and photograph. Back side of sheets is white instead of patterned like top side of sheets; looks/feels like a tablecloth. Doesn't feel like Egyptian cotton as advertised either--not very soft material.Unable to be put in touch with manufacturer to discuss; told Amzn C.S. would handle inquiries/issues, but I was disconnected by C.S. after being left on hold for 15". Unsuccessful in followup attempts to communicate with C.S. Promotional offer was not honored. At this point, I'll continue to try communication with C.S., so I can at least return these.
