Title: Worked great re-soling Crocs
Review: I love Crocs, but I hate that they become very slippery quickly after they're new because of how fast the soles wear down. I walk my dog a lot in Florida and there's puddles everywhere half the year. I'm a hobbyist cobbler so this project was super easy. I knew they DON'T come with adhesive! I used my drum sander to sand down the bottoms of the Crocs, then scuffed the flat surface of these soles and used contact adhesive to hold them together. After some trimming of the extra I went back to the drum sander to round off the corners and smooth out the transitions. They work great! And the bottoms will now last a lot longer.

Title: Did not work on my Sketcher's Hikers- Updated review, worked on 2nd attempt
Review: I liked my Sketchers, which I paid $40, I guess that is not a lot of money these days, and while the tops held up well, the soles wore down very quickly. I decided to try and retread them, something I have not done before. The retreads were a bit small and did not need to be cut even though my size is only 9. It is a wide shoe for the size, probably because they are hikers, not just tennis shoes. Anyway, they did not come with shoe contact cement, which I bought separately from Amazon (Angelus Brand). No directions on the product but I did watch the video and the contact cement had instructions. In short, the glue did not adhere well to the retreads and was particularly weak on the heals and toe tips. The glue stuck fairly well on the shoes themselves. So, is the problem the resoles or the glue? Quien sabe? I paid $16 for the 4oz contact cement and $10 for this product in a failed attempted to self repair a $40 shoe. Still, I learned something. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product. Sorry :(Edit: Second crack at the repair seemed to work better. The retreads do not adhere well to the contact cement that I bought, so I repeated the repair this time pressing the parts together much quicker (contact cement instructions indicated 15 minutes). At even 10 minutes, the contact cement lost its tackiness. The heels and tips did not work at all as they were curved surfaces, so I finished them off with using a tube of Shoe Goo with clamping. Not a perfect repair and I won't try such a repair again, but good enough to elevate my stars from 1 to 3. Good luck!!

Review: I bought these cheap house shoes I love. Sides and inside durable enough. Bottom was junk. So broke out my clamps , Shoe Goo and rubber cement. I'm happy. House slippers great
