Title: Perfect fit, the perfect work shoe
Review: Very good grip -- they should, they're "work" shoes. And they feel great, like you want for hours on the feet in certain jobs. Good price, too.

Title: Decent, spacey, laceless
Review: Feels like a good shoe, might need some extra cushion.Bought them in 14 Wide but they're a little too big(long), but not sure if the 13Regular would fit me (since many size 13s always fit too tight or not at all) so maybe I needed 13Wide. But going to add extra inserts since I specifically need very High Arch support, standing 8 hours for work.

Title: Great shoes, but not for $80
Review: They're pretty good shoes all in all, I've owned about 5 pairs now. The soles always seems to deglue at exactly the same time after about 5-6 months.Pros: breathable mesh keeps you a little cooler, shoes have pretty good support, flared heel means more nonslip surface area and good for pivoting (which I do a lot of at work), generally pretty comfortable during a 12 hour shift in a kitchen. The "captive lace but not shoelace" design is actually pretty ingeniousCons: breathable mesh also means spills and food have a straight line to your feet, and cleaning them properly is pretty hard. The captive lace holds in soils pretty well. Soles tend to suddenly come unglued simultaneously, and shoe goo/super glue doesn't adhere very well.Biggest con: they're now $80, which is nearly double what I paid the first time I got them. I would buy another pair but at this price the value proposition for what's essentially a consumable shoe that wears out twice a year (at least) makes it pretty unattractive. There are still $40-50 shoes out there that are only 10% worse than this one. We're rolling in the dough in a less figurative manner in the kitchen and $160-$240 a year in shoes is a little steep. All in all if you're doing serious dirty work in the food industry, maybe consider something in faux leather that can be cleaned off a little easier. I love the breathability of the mesh but I got tired of the constant stink, even after soaking/drying. These would be ideal and last at least a year for a manager/supervisor that occasionally hops on the line or FOH.

Title: Quite possibly the perfect shoe
Review: I have been buying these for years. I wear them because I have a bad bunion, and cannot break in leather shoes. However, they are perfect for almost anyone.Super comfortable. Non-slip. Durable. They even look like a laced shoe, if you are embarrassed to be wearing a slip-on. They are rated for kitchen duty, also... which came in handy for me recently, but was merely a bonus.I hope Sketchers never stops making these. I am on pair #8 and counting.

Title: Surprise in the Snow
Review: I purchased this shoe as well as a pair of the Skecher Afterburn M tennis shoes. I wanted a dedicated work shoe, because I was going though my shoes pretty quickly from wearing the same pair all the time. So, being that I had already had two previous pairs of the âAfterburnâ shoe, and burned through each of them in just over a year respectively, I decided to get another pair of them and also get a pair of the Cessnock Food Service Shoe strictly for work. Both pairs of shoes arrived yesterday, and today I wore the Food Service shoe (FSS) to work for the first time.I slipped them on and found them to be a perfect fit. They are very light weight and comfortable. Usually, I find new shoes need a few days of wear to break-in until they really conform to the shape of your foot and then begin to fit well, but that wasnât the case with these FSS shoes; they fit perfectly the moment I put them on.I wore them all day at work and discovered something that really surprised me. We had a snowstorm today and got about 2â by the time I got to work, and had a good 7â by the end of my shift. I park outside so of course I have to brush the snow off the car. After doing so I knocked the snow off my shoes before getting into the car. I was surprised to see that the snow didnât stick to the material on top of the shoes, it was as if there was a water repellant in/on the material. I was sort of wondering why my feet werenât getting cold while I was cleaning off my car and I guess that explains it. Another surprise was the fact that these shoes make no sound when walking on a tile floor while having wet soles. The âAfterburnâ tennis shoes squeak like a rusty hinge when the bottom of the shoe is wet and you walk across tile or other such surfaces, but the FSSâs, are quiet as a mouse, not a sound comes from them, you could almost call them Ninja shoes. As for the style, well thatâs a personal preference and these shoes suit me just fine. I think they look sharp, and nobody even noticed I had a new pair of shoes on today.Durability is the unanswered question and being that Iâve only worn them one day, that question will remain unanswered for a while. If I can get a solid two years out of them, just wearing them to work, I will definitely buy them again and certainly would recommend them to a friend.I hope this review helps with your decision. Peace.

Title: Love them, no slip and comfortable
Review: I work in a Health spa and the floors are always wet, my old shoes were slip-proof but weighed about 40 tons (it seems). these are light and comfortable

Title: Very comfortable
Review: The shoes are well cushioned and great for all day wear. They are lightweight and are nonslip- great for kitchen workers, healthcare workers and for stability. The price was a good value and the waterproof fabric is great. They are great for relieving pain and have a great performance. I will definitely purchase these again!

Title: Good quality shoe, but if you're looking for a comfortable work shoe look elsewhere.
Review: As a nonslip shoe meant to be used for work this shoe is great. However, my issue is that it's very uncomfortable. I used them for extended periods of time for over 2 yrs. Standing for long periods of time isn't great since the insole is very thin/wears out quickly and the sole of the shoe while sturdy is not for added cushion. The outer mesh material is quite durable and can take many washes and stains; it however does not breath well and for extended use it makes your foot cramped. Overall i would say this shoe is very functional but should not be marketed as something comfortable.

Review: I have larger feet, 12, wide.. so the clog type/rubber ones that are easy to spray and wipe clean are pretty tight on my feet, so I tried these.I just soaked and cleaned these ones before the photos, , they still look like new, they come scotchgarded (sp?) so nothing has stained them yet. They do get the odd crumb or speck of food in the knit fabric, but nothing has gotten stuck or embedded, or needed to really be scrubbed out. That is key, because I donât wanna fray or cut or ruin the weave. I just use an old soft bristle toothbrush to flick anything out that fells into the in it weave. So Iâm gonna get some more spray scotchgard from the store and continue cleaning them every 3-4 months or so, and see how long they last. But they look great, and are comfy for sure. I swap the insoles every few months also; it keeps my feet and knees from getting too sore.I enjoy these a lot. They also pass as normal shoes or sneakers.. so if youâre out in public you donât have to feel too weird because most kitchen shoes look odd or bizzare lol.
