Title: Really draws the reader in and promotes thought.
Review: I enjoyed reading the 4 books. Some of my friends kept little notebooks in order to keep the characters straight in the first book. By the second book you really know who everybody is. She does a wonderful job of really making the reader feel attached to these characters. I cried, almost the whole way through the third book. I felt like they were my close friends. And many of the events hit âclose to homeâ The fourth book wraps everything up nicely. It is definitely a good read and very thought-provoking about our personal relationship with God in our day to day lives.

Title: Love these characters
Review: I found these books when a friend asked me to give book #1 to another friend that I lived near. I was skimming it before I passed it on and ended up reading it in 4 days. I discovered this was a series of 4 books and immediately ordered the set. I'm on book #3 right now and I just love the characters. The first book draws you in to each of their lives and how they come to be friends through a spiritual retreat. Even though they are all very different, they become sisters in Christ and as the reader, you get to be included as a sister! I've highlighted so many things in the first book and have also done some in the second and third books. I will not be passing these on because I'll want to re-read them!These ladies are not without their hardships but they support each other and "lean not on their own understanding" as they work through them. A very refreshing read filled with heartache and hope, friendships, sisterhood, beginnings and endings and most of all love.
