Title: Rubber Turns Sticky in Time
Review: While I found the functioning go the earmuffs to be quite good, I have had to put them aside for another brand of non-electronic muffs that I own. In time, the rubber covering of the battery cover deteriorates and becomes so sticky that it is unpleasant to use. Every time I would put them on, I would come away with a sticky residue on my fingers which I would then transfer to my pistol. I have tried to contact the company at least three times to see if I could get or purchase a replacement cover, but I have never received any kind of response at all from Honeywell. Terrible customer service IMO. While they still function I refuse to wear them.

Title: Make sure you buy them with one enough limbs
Review: I have had these noise cancellation muffs for years. Have not particularly taken great care of them. Run skill saws, shot shotguns, thrown them around in the tool trailer and the truck. They still work great and I think I have had them for 4 years, not sure about that, maybe longer. The only thing for me , they could be a little bit more comfortable. Thatâs it!

Title: Works but battery cover becomes a sticky mess
Review: Like other reviewers have said the battery cover deteriorates and becomes a sticky brittle mess. I guess if you only want to use this for a little bit but that really needs to be upgraded or changed. Can't recommend it esp you can't even get a replacement cover.

Title: Tacky
Review: The rubber covering of the battery cover has deteriorated and sticks to everything. The head band plastic is also flaking, sticks to you scalp and impossible the remove from hair. The actual function sound reduction is fair. Company knows itâs a problem but doesnât make repayments available. There are so many others making the same type product so with Honeywells Terrible customer service, time for something different.

Title: Heavy use and they work good
Review: I am a competitive shooter and use these weekly for at least 4-5 hours at a time. I have one pair that gets the most use and a backup pair. They work great because all sounds above a dangerous level are blocked but you can hear conversations as well or even better than without them. I do not wear any ear plugs under them, just adjust the volume so conversation and sounds are at a normal level and leave them alone. Battery life is great as I use them for months on one set of batteries . They must have an auto off because I have left them on and a week later THE BATTERIES ARE STILL FINE.The negatives- in hot weather they do not allow air circulation around your ears and you get sweaty. We cut the toes out of socks and slip them over the ear pieces to absorb some of the sweat. Secondly the wires connecting the two earpieces (run through the padded overhead section) show wear and the black covering is failing. Also I had one break where the little metal rod slides into the plastic piece to adjust the up/down on the earpiece. Patched it with super glue and wrapped tightly. The padding on the overhead section is starting to fail. Understand that I am a heavy user, mine get dropped & beat around, thrown into a range bag and things dumped on top, they are hung over the shoulder strap on the range bag and generally abused and they have stood up well.

Title: Do Not Buy!
Review: I used these 3 times at indoor ranges. The last time was today, with only 4 people shooting 9mm handguns. These do NOT block the sound of gunshots like they are supposed to! Each time I used them my ears were ringing when I took them off, and my hearing was messed up for the rest of the day. These are going in the garbage. I noticed in several of the "Good" reviews the users were also using earplugs with them. This should NOT be necessary with decent quality earmuffs!

Title: Work well
Review: I was gifted these by a friend. They block noise and make shooting must more enjoyable. The most amazing part is that my friend could speak in a normal voice and I could hear him 50 yards away. The only issue with the audio from him was as I approached a building there was an echo from the building that make it difficult to hear him. If you want to hear squirrels and deer crunching leaves in the woods these are fantastic. The audio cut is perfect when you shoot. I don't need a bluetooth version you can simply put an ear bud under the muff. This will allow use of a walkie talkie as well.
